As you advance and collect more Pokémon, your Adventurer Rank (p. 8) goes up, opening up more features to enjoy. Useful Poké Diamonds This game can be thoroughly enjoyed and played to completion without purchasing in-game digital items. If you wish to optionally purchase more Poké Diamonds to help you with your progress through the game, you will need to have sufficient funds in your Nintendo eShop account. Poké Diamonds are in- game digital items that can be exchanged for other items in the game, such as hot-air balloons and Pokémon Houses, or used to continue play after a loss (p. 10). You can obtain Poké Diamonds for free during the game or you can purchase them at the in-game shop (p. 8). Changing the date or time on your system may temporarily delay associated events. 6 Controls In this game, you'll control various features by pressing buttons and selecting menu items on the lower screen (Touch Screen) (p. 9).
