Welcome to Our Visitors

Thank you for sharing in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with us today. Please fill out a visitor’s card (found in the pew racks) and return it in the offering plate so we will have a record of your visit. And please introduce yourself after Mass.

If you are a Catholic, we at Our Lady of Walsingham receive Holy Communion kneeling and by intinction (both species on the tongue).

If you are not a Catholic, during Communion we invite you either to come forward with your arms crossed over your chest, or fingers across your lips, and receive a blessing from the Priest or Deacon, or remain in your pew and reflect on the presence of Christ.

Prayer Intention of the Holy Father, We pray for those who risk their lives while fighting for fundamental rights under dictatorships, authoritarian regimes and even democracies in crisis.

Confirmation at Vigil of Mass, Saturday May 22 6:30 pm

Confirmation at Pentecost Masses, Sunday May 23 - 9:30 am & 11:15 am

We wish to congratulate, the 56 Confirmands who will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation between the three Masses on the Vigil of Pentecost and Pentecost Day. May “the word of Christ dwell in you richly’ (Col. 3:16) that you may know all that is good and perfect and true. May you grow in faith, and in union with Christ. May you discern at every turn, the perfect will of God which “is love and mercy itself.”

You are encouraged to take the Bulletin & Mass Leaflet home to utilize them in your prayer life.

Catechesis of The Good Shepherd

In Catechesis of the Good Shepherd adults are given the opportunity to embrace a method of catechesis (or religious education) for children, that will deepen one’s relationship with God. Training enriches the adult in a background of scripture and liturgy, theology and prayer, as well as the pedagogy of the young child, helping the adult to see what face of God the young child most needs in order to enter into a relationship with God. Training classes are available this summer. For more information contact Lynn Schmidt at 907-317-6257
