1950

Some have said that the ministry of William Branham got fully started in 1950. He claims to have been a widely known prophet and evangelist since 1933, with newspapers and magazines from deep in the United States all the way up into Canada printing stories about the signs and wonders God performed through himself, though history records a slightly different story.

1950 was over ten years before Branham’s first prophetic claim. At this time, his healing ministry was in full swing, amazing the crowds with mind reading and predictions about the outcome of their illness.

1950 was about the time that William Branham began teaching that baptism in the name of Jesus Christ was the only true pathway to salvation. He taught that the formula given in Matthew 29:19 was incorrect. According to Branham, all those who were baptized according to the words given by Jesus Christ, “In the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost” had to be re-baptized in the “Name of Jesus Christ.”

Matthew 28:19 is the commandment given by Jesus when he gave his great commission.

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Matthew 28:19

The verse containing the great commission ended with a colon, there was more to the commission given by Jesus Christ.

teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:20

Jesus instructed the disciples to teach others to observe (keep) the commandments given by Jesus Christ. Jesus said that he would be with them (and us) always, even to the end of the age.

Branham taught that the words of Jesus were misunderstood. According to Branham, Jesus did not mean that we should baptize in the titles of God, that Jesus was the name of the Father. Jesus was the name of the Holy Ghost. Jesus, of course, was the name of the Son.

Now, here's the Scripture, Matthew 28:19, only place in the Bible it ever mentioned these titles. Go ye therefore,... teach all nations, baptizing them into the name of the

Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Now, the way you're baptized, is, "in the name of the Father, in the name of the Son, and in the name of the Holy Ghost." That's not even in the Scripture. But it is here, "Teach all nations, baptizing them in the Name." Now, look right at your Bible and see if that says "in the names" or "in the Name." Now, you say... Now, here not long ago, in a meeting, a fellow said, "There's a contradiction in the Bible." Said, "I wish you'd explain it to me. Why did Jesus tell the people to baptize in the name of the Father, Son, Holy Ghost, and Peter turned around and baptized them in the Name of Jesus Christ, in Acts 2:38?" Said, "If that don't contradict itself, I don't see a contradiction!" I said, "Just because you haven't sought God right." He said, "Brother Branham, does it make any difference if I baptize this way or that way?" It certainly does, and I'll prove it by the Bible. What if--what if Moses... God told Moses, come up the bush, said, "Moses, take off your shoes, you're on holy ground."

He said, "Now, Lord, I'm a reverent man. My shoes are a little hard to take off, so I'll just take off my hat." He never said "hat," He said, "shoes." And what the Bible says is Truth. 54-0515 QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

The Bible refers to the Father many times. Jesus sits at the right hand of the Father. The Bible refers to the Holy Ghost many times. Jesus spoke of the time when the Spirit would come. There was only one way to prove Branham’s theory by the Bible.

And that way was to change the words of the scripture.

In a prayer, Branham begins praying to the Father. In this prayer, he changes the words of Matthew 28:19.

Our heavenly Father, we're thinking of the time that Nathanael came to You. Philip went and got him, and when he came up to Nathanael, he found him praying. And he said to Nathanael, "Come, see Who I've found, Jesus of Nazareth, Who was spoke of by Moses, the prophet."

He said, "Could anything good come out of Nazareth?" He said, "Come and see." And when he came to the prayer line, O God, we can see the Spirit of God moved Jesus. He said, "There's a Christian. There's a believer, an Israelite indeed," otherwise. And Nathanael said, "When did You know me?" He said, "Before you come, you were praying under a tree." And he said, "Thou art the Son of God, the King of Israel." Oh, You promised that Your Spirit would be with us always, even to the end of the world. And You're here tonight to detect, to tell, and to heal through faith. And Father, we're so thankful that You said, "A little while and the world will see Me more--no more. Yet you'll see Me, for I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world." 50-0405 EXPECTATION

It was such a subtle change. Just as the serpent beguiled Eve by adding one simple word to change the meaning of the sentence, Branham adds words to change the meaning of the sentence. Not one, but three: even in you.

No accepted translation of the Bible contains these words, not even the King James Version.

“And instruct them to keep everything whatever I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you every day, even unto the end of time. Amen”

Even the 1611 version of the King James Bible did not contain those words.

Teaching them to obserue all things, whatsoeuer I haue commanded you: and loe, I am with you alway, euen vnto the end of the world. Amen.

The invented "Scripture" was a combination of John 14:12-13 with Matthew 28:30. Because he wanted to stay away from thoughts about the Triune nature of God, he left out the part about the Father abiding in Jesus and Jesus abiding in the Father, believers abiding in Jesus and Jesus abiding in believers, and about the Comforter who would be sent to teach believers all things.

He started saying that Jesus was in another form, changing the meaning of Matthew 28:19 to sound to the listeners as if Jesus Himself was a ghost among the people.

O dear God, if You were standing on this platform tonight, physically in body, You'd stretch forth Your hands; this man would look upon You, and he would know You were here. He would believe You. But now You're here in another form, working in Your church. You said, "A little while the world seeth me no more, yet I will be with

1951

In 1951, Branham tested the waters. The people had missed this subtle change. He asks his followers about it, “Is that His Word?” Nobody seemed to catch this subtle little difference that was added to the Word of God by William Branham.

Even the Son of God, He said, "I can do nothing except the Father shows Me first." And if He couldn't, how much more I, as a man, a sinner, and He never was a sinner. And He was borned the virgin Son of God. And I was borned in sin, shaped in iniquity, come to the world speaking lies, worthy to go to hell, but He redeemed me. And only hands He has on earth tonight, is my hands, and your hands. The only mouth that He has, is my mouth and your mouth. "I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world." Is that His Word? See? Then it's Him, "It's not you that speaketh," He said, "but your heavenly Father that dwelleth in you, He doeth, will tell you at that hour." Now, Jesus the Son of God, said, "I the Son of God can do nothing about that, for I can only do what My Father shows Me to do. For, whatsoever the Son seeth (amen,), seeth the Father do, these things also doeth the Son. For the Son... The Father showeth the Son whatsoever things He doeth, and He will show

you greater things than this, that ye may marvel." Saint John 14:12, quoting Jesus, "These things that I do, shall you also. And greater things than this shall you do, for I go unto My Father." I quote again the Scripture, "It's expedient for Me that I go away, for if I go not away, the Holy Ghost will not come." Again, "A little while, and the world seeth Me no more, yet you'll see Me for I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the age." Quoting again, Hebrews 8:13--13:8, rather, "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever." "When He the Holy Ghost has come, He will guide you into all truth and light, and will show you things to come." True? Those are quotations from the Scriptures of Jesus' own Words. 51-0727 THE.CHURCH.OF.THE.LIVING.GOD

Branham began teaching that the physical being of Jesus Christ was taken. It was given as a Sacrifice. Therefore, Jesus must be that “Ghost” that would one day come.

And then the Scripture has said that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. And He said, and then let's see, if that's true, then He said, "A little while and the world seeth Me no more." That's the world order, the day of the way it is now. "They'll see Me no more," because His physical Being had been given and made a Sacrifice as a bleeding Lamb, an innocent for we guilty. Me." Now, who is "ye"? The believer. "For I will be with you, even in you to the end of the world." Now, did that mean to Peter, James and John, and those standing there? They're not living tonight. They're living but in glory. But the believer would know Him unto the end of the world. Is that right? 51-0727 THE.CHURCH.OF.THE.LIVING.GOD

From that simple, subtle change, he started teaching that the body of Jesus Christ was invisible, forgetting the stories of those who saw Jesus after his burial and resurrection.

And how does He do these works? In a visible body? No. For it's written, "A little while and the world seeth Me no more; yet you'll see Me: for I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world. The things that I do shall you also; and greater than this shall you do (or more), for I go to My Father." And nightly He does more in the meeting, in one single meeting He does more of telling the people what to do and so forth, in one single meeting, and it's written of Him telling the people in the New Testament (Think of that.) of three years of ministry. 'Course there's many things He did do; it's not recorded according to Luke, but the things that's written... He told a man one time where there was a fish had a coin in his mouth. some mules was hitched, two places where they come together. He knew where a man would be packing a pitcher, make ready an upper room. Just about six, seven, things is all He... Is recorded of Him saying. But He knew their thoughts; He read their mind. 51-0929 OUR.HOPE.IS.IN.GOD

1952

In 1952, the subtle addition to the scriptures started taking a greater meaning in his ministry. He would often combine this subtle change with other scriptures, quoting their location in the Bible. As readers looked up the quote, they would find the other correct scripture. It was very difficult before the technology age to locate this scripture that did not exist in the Bible, so the readers would simply assume he was quoting real scripture.

Is that right? Now, according to Jesus' own words, which I believe they are the Truth. No one disputes that Saint John 5 is not in... but what's inspired. And according to His Words, He said, "I do nothing until the Father shows Me what He's doing. Then what the Father shows Me, that I do." Is that right? Saint John 5:19. Now, if Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever, "A little while, and the world seeth Me no more, yet you'll see Me, for I will be with you even in you." Then Jesus Christ comes into His Church, to His people, to manifest Himself out through the people, while He, Himself, is setting at the right hand of the Father, sending back the Holy Spirit, the third Person of the trinity, to live in human beings, to work through them, to show the same works that He did in the beginning, making Him, "the same yesterday, today, and forever." 52-0713E GOD.TESTIFYING.OF.HIS.GIFTS

By this time, the people had learned that subtle addition and he did not even need to quote the full modified verse.

You believe it? Look. A man, a Spirit filled, Pentecostal born, Holy Ghost man of God, called out, separated, stood under inspiration, knowing nothing about what Ananias and Sapphira had done, but when he came, they came into the building, the Holy Spirit revealed what had happened. And God rewarded them of their iniquity. And they believed Jesus the resurrected Christ, not Peter; the resurrected Christ, that promised, "I will be with you, even in you." And even the shadow of that man, passing the street, he never prayed for nobody. Walked down the street, and every one of them was healed, sick, afflicted, impotent, lame, unclean spirit. That man who lived with-- in adultery, and uncleanliness, and everything like that. Unclean spirits makes them do unclean things. Every one of them... Then if Jesus is the same tonight, if laying in the shadow of Peter would do such, what about right here, when Jesus Christ is the same manifestation here among us? Don't take the shadow of Peter; it takes faith in the Son of God. Amen. You believe it? 52-0715 FAITH.IN.THE.SON.OF.GOD

It was at this point that he started confusing the persons in the Trinity. He did not deny the trinity; he just replaced the Holy Spirit with Jesus Christ.

Now, if Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and do we believe that the Holy Spirit is on earth today? How many believes that? Well, that Holy Spirit is the Holy Spirit of God. Is that right? The third Person of the trinity, Jesus Christ. "Yet a little while, the world seeth Me no more, yet you'll see Me, for I'll be with you, even in you to the end of the world." Is that right? Then if He's going to be with us, in us to the end of the world, that makes Him the same yesterday, today, and forever. Is that right? Now, if He comes down in our midst tonight, and I'm just your brother, remember. But it's the claims that I say about Him, that He is the same. And here's what I believe. I believe every Word of the Bible is absolutely, infallible, the truth. That's the way... I--I think you can't say, "This is not inspired, and that's not inspired." I believe it's all inspired of God. And I'm willing tonight to hang my soul on any phase of it, and say, "It's the truth." I believe the whole book. And I believe when it said that "Jesus was the same yesterday, today, and for ever." I believe that Jesus made a way that He could be with us, as He said, "A little while, the world seeth Me no more; yet you shall. For I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world." believe that He returned back in the form of the Holy Ghost the second, third Person of the trinity, come back as the Comforter, and is with us, working the same thing that Jesus Christ did when He was here on earth. Now, that's either right or wrong. Now, that's the way you got to take God. 52-0720E WHO.HAS.BELIEVED.OUR.REPORT

It was also in 1952 that the seed was planted to exchange the Father for Jesus Christ in the Trinity. Branham started integrating this subtle change into stories from the Old Testament, such as the Pillar of Fire that led the children of Israel.

Then what I say? Anyone who knows the Old Testament, knows that it was a Pillar of Fire that led the children of Israel. Is that right? And all Bible readers know that that was the Angel of the Covenant. Do you believe that? Then if that was that Angel of the covenant, it was Jesus Christ. He's the same yesterday, today, forever. He's still the Lord Jesus. "I came from God, and I go to God," He said. "A little while and the world seeth Me no more, yet you'll see Me. I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the age." "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever." 52-0726 EXPERIENCES

Now, if Jesus done nothing, now why didn't He heal that crippled man, or the twisted man, or the lame man, or the halt man? Is because the Father had not showed him. Is that right? Do you believe that's the reason? And He only healed what the Father showed Him. Then if He said, "A little while, and the world seeth Me no more, yet you'll see Me, for I will be with you, even in you to the end of the world." Is that right? Hebrews 13:8 said, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever the same: same in love; same in power; same in compassion; same in works; same in signs; same in wonders. You believe that? "Why," they say, "He died." Yes, that's right. But He rose again, and He appeared back, the same lovely Jesus. Do you believe that?

Now, He sits at the right hand of the Father tonight, God Almighty, to make--as a high Priest, to act in our stead (Do you believe that?) to make intercessions upon our confession. Is that right? Hebrews 3:1. "He is the high Priest of our confession." Whatever we confess that He has done... First, we have to believe it, then we confess it. He's setting before the Father to make that right. Is that true? Now, if there's a fundamentalist here, that's as sound as I know the Scripture. All right. Then He said, "I will pray the Father, He will send you another Comforter," which was the Holy

Ghost, "He will abide with you forever. He will not testify Himself, but He will testify of Me. Whatever He sees, that He will do. And He will show you things that is to come." Is that right? Now, the world may take the Word, and...?... scrum it all up in these theological seminaries, and--and teach this, and philosophy, and so forth, and psychology, and theory, and--and so forth. They might do that; but yet, one thing sure, we have the Holy Spirit as a Divine Witness. And if that is truly the Holy Spirit, then it bears record of Christ, for it is Christ in Spirit form. "Yet a little while and the world seeth Me no more, but you will see Me, for I will be with you, even in you," making Him the same here on earth in Spirit form until the end of the age. You get it now? I take my time, so it'll really soak in good. Now, let's watch. Then "By their fruits, ye shall know them." 52-0817E DO.YOU.NOW.BELIEVE

He did not fully replace the Father from the Trinity, even though the seed was planted. At this point in time, only the Holy Spirit had been replaced. Jesus still sat at the right hand of the Father, and One cannot sit at the right hand of Himself.

1953

In 1953, Branham started putting emphasis on the powers of Christ he claimed to have in the church. Remember, the Holy Spirit had been replaced with Jesus in Branham’s theology, and there were other places where the Holy Spirit was mentioned in the Bible.

Those places must be changed too.

In John 14, Jesus promises that the Holy Spirit would come. Remember, Jesus said that another helper would come when He referred to the Holy Spirit. Branham would have to change that scripture’s meaning to implement his doctrinal change.

1953 also marks the first year that Branham added the words “to dwell in” to the scriptures of the baptism of Jesus. The Father proclaimed “This is My beloved Son,” and Branham slipped in the “to dwell in” phrase.

The passage in John 14 refers to Philip asking to see the Father. Thomas had just asked how to reach the Father’s house of many mansions, and Jesus had just replied that He was that way. Philip thought that if Jesus would show Thomas the Father, it would help them to identify the pathway to God.

Jesus was not referring to physical works in this passage. Yes, works were included, but the emphasis was on the Faith. Jesus was going to the Father as an interceder for us. The Father would grant anything that we ask in His name, because the Father would be glorified through the Son.

Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.” Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does his works. Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father is in me, or else believe on account of the works themselves.

“Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father. Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me[e] anything in my name, I will do it. “If you love me, you will keep my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth,

whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.

“I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. Yet a little while and the world will see me no more, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you. Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.” Judas (not Iscariot) said to him, “Lord, how is it that you will manifest yourself to us, and not to the world?” Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. Whoever does not love me does not keep my words. And the word that you hear is not mine but the Father's who sent me.

“These things I have spoken to you while I am still with you. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. You heard me say to you, ‘I am going away, and I will come to you.’ If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I am going to the

Father, for the Father is greater than I. And now I have told you before it takes place, so that when it does take place you may believe. I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming. He has no claim on me, but I do as the Father has commanded me, so that the world may know that I love the Father. Rise, let us go from here John 14:8-31

And that's the way always: take these things back to the Scripture. There's the mint. And if the Scripture spoke of it, Jesus Christ said, "The things that I do shall you also. Greater things than this," or more. You couldn't be greater, it'd have to be greater in quantity, not in quality, because He stopped nature and interfered nature, raised the dead, things that's just... Nothing could, else could be greater done. But He said, "More than this will you do (or greater), for I go to My Father." Is that right? "Yet a little while and the world seeth Me no more. Yet you'll see Me, for I will be with you, even in you to the end of the age." The same yesterday, today, and forever... 53-0507 EXPECTATIONS

Branham seemingly begs the listeners to challenge him on this subtle change to the scriptures. “That’s either truth or it’s an error,”

Now, if Jesus is the same tonight as He was then, and I declare that He promised, "These things that I do, shall you also. I will be with you, even in you, plumb to the end of the world."... Now, that's--that's either the truth or it's an error. And it's the truth. God knows it's the truth. Now, these are gifts and things that are set in the Church. 53-0508 GOD.COMMISSIONING.MOSES

He also seems to challenge God. God did not stop him from adding this subtle change to the scriptures, and God was the one who vindicates His Truth in His Word. The people did not have to believe it until God says it was the truth.

Just seems like a--a milky haze hanging over here now. If the people... Friends, you have-- you... If a man says something... A man can come through and say all kinds of things, you have... You don't have no... You don't have to believe it until God says it's the truth. And if it's according to God's Word, and God backs it up and says it's the truth, it's a sin to disbelieve it. Now, the Holy Spirit has healed every person... Jesus Christ when He died at Calvary, healed

every person... And every person is now under subjections to this supernatural Being. If you'll believe me as His prophet, you can receive what you desire. Believe me that I pray; not me, believe what I tell you, that Jesus Christ has already healed you. You just receive it. Only things this does, is just declare His Presence, a vindication of Him being here. How marvelous. How my spirit screams out. When I see darkness gathering over the people's... Why can't every one believe our Lord Jesus? Give my life for it... I'm still ready. And I will declare this, that Jesus Christ, the same great Healer that walked the sea of Galilee is in this building now, fulfilling, that it might be fulfilled, which is spoken by Himself, saying, "I will be with you even in you to the end of the world. Another subtle change started to be integrated into this theology. Canaan, though identified as the Promised Land, no longer represented heaven. Israel’s constant turn towards idolatry and God’s punishment of the children for the sins of the fathers became the “Millennium”, and Jesus Christ was placed into the history of Israel. Yahweh was taken out, just as the serpent tried to do in Tyre.

Now, the... When they got over into Canaan, did not represent Heaven. They had wars in Canaan and so forth. It represented the Millennium. See? So we're going into that. And we're on our road now to the Millennium. I believe it. And I believe the same Jesus Christ that led back there, leads today. He's in a spiritual form. "I came from God; I go to God. A little while and the world seeth Me no more, yet ye shall see Me, for I will be with you even in you to the end of the world." Is that right? "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever." He continued driving a wedge into the Trinity, replacing the Holy Spirit with Jesus Christ.

Oh, my, tonight, if we were looking to see Jesus... You know that old song, "I Want To See Jesus, Don't You?" Well, now, He's with us. What will it be when we see Him? He said, "A little while and the world will see Me know more, but yet, you'll see Me. I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world." How wonderful. Now, have faith. Believe with all your heart. Now, if He's here tonight, His Spirit will be working with His people. "I will be with you." The Bible said, "When the Holy Ghost is come, He will bring these things to your memory that I have taught, and will show you things to

It was at this point in his ministry that he changed the focus of his subtle addition. In a trick that magicians have used for centuries called “slight of hand,” he moves the focus away from the subtle addition into the word ‘I’.

May our Lord add His blessings to His Word. God in confirmation of His Word, of the testimony of Jesus Christ, was declaring to the people that it was the Son of God. Once in talking to a man, he said, "Nowhere in the Scriptures did Jesus ever say that He was, plainly say He was the Son of God." There's several places He said He was the Son of God. He told... Saint John 4, He said He was the Son of God. And also here He says He was the Son of God. And the people who believed Him and recognized Him to be the Son of God because the signs of God followed His Son... And His Son has risen from the dead, living among us tonight. And the same Jesus that God a vindicated that day, a vindicates in His Church tonight, with His believers. For Jesus said, "A little while and the world will see Me no more. Then, for the first time, Branham subtly adds the words “to dwell in” into the voice of the Father that proclaimed His Son during the baptism of Jesus. I can see John standing out there preaching, but he stirred all the regions around about Jordan. Here come down Jesus: was baptized of him. When He went straightway out of the water and the heavens opened, said, "This is My beloved Son in Whom I am pleased to dwell in." Jesus went forth... Now, it comes to our text, our place quickly. Listen close. Then His ministry started. He went over to live with Martha and Mary and them at Bethany. Now, He was called away. 53-0906A BELIEVEST.THOU.THIS

When He come from God, went back to God. "A little while and the world seeth Me no more. Yet you shall see Me, for I'll be with you ('I' is a personal pronoun.) See? I'm to pray for the sick, but there you are. The covenant God made, "As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of man." It was the covenant: look and live. Wasn't the world there in kosmos meaning "the--the--the world order"? The, I mean, the world in its... the earth? It meant the world order, the peoples. "The world will see me no more; yet ye shall see me." Who's ye? The church. "You shall see me: for I..." (a personal pronoun) "I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world." 1954

In 1954, after driving a wedge into the Trinity, Branham started driving a wedge into Jesus Christ Himself. The Father still remained a member of the Godhead, the Holy Spirit was replaced with Jesus Christ, and Branham decides to limit the power of Jesus.

Just as the Koran teaches about Mohammed, Branham makes Jesus “just a prophet.” Jesus could not do anything unless the Father gave Jesus a vision. The deity of Christ was taken away, starting in 1954.

So we seen Him. When He was here on earth, He said, "It's not me that doeth the work. It's My Father that dwelt in Me, He doeth the work. I do nothing of Myself." St. John 9--5:19, He said, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father doing. Whatever the Father is--shows Me, that I go do. The Father worketh, I worketh hitherto." Therefore, He did not heal anyone Himself. He said He only did as God showed Him a vision on what to do. And He said... Now, another thing. He was a great mind reader, not the mind reader out here on the street, as I said before. That's the devil's work. And by the way, there happens to be one of them setting present tonight. But by the way, a mind reader... As Jesus, He perceived their thoughts. And He knew what the audience was. A woman touched Him one time by faith. He

never felt it. But He turned and said, "Who touched Me?" That right? He looked over His audience till He seen who touched Him. He said, "Thy faith has made thee whole." See? Is that right? Now, all these things that He did, He said, "You shall do also." Said, "A little while, and the world will see Me no more; yet, you'll see Me..." Who's you? "You shall see Me, for I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world: Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today, and forever." Also in 1954, those who believed Branham were separated from those who did not believe in his ministry. He called the “world” the “unbelievers,” again changing the meaning of the scripture.

Now, that Jesus lives tonight. Now, look. "The things that I do, shall you also." Is that right? "Yet a little while..." (I'm closing.) "Yet a little while, and the world seeth Me no more." The world's the unbelievers. "Yet ye shall see Me," Now, do you people that want to say miracles is only for them back there, and He was just talking to the disciples? "Ye shall see Me (the church), for I will be with you, even in you, to the ends of the world." Those disciples died two thousand years ago. But disciples still live on. Then if Jesus raised from the dead, living in His church, His Life will be reproduced in mankind, proving Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever. 54-0314 WHY.I'M.PRAYING.FOR.THE.SICK

He continued taking away the deity of Christ. The omnipotence of God was taken away from Jesus, and he did not know about certain people according to Branham.

If you'll notice the previous reading of the Scripture said, "Jesus knew that the man had been a long time in this way." See? He knew. Why didn't He go to these? He knew nothing about them. But He knew about this one. Then the Jews found this man packing his bed on the sabbath day and questioned him, and perhaps was questioning Jesus about these things. "Why won't He heal that one? Let me see Him make this one well and I'll believe it. Let me see Him heal this one; I'll believe it." And yet people were being healed everywhere. God promised that He'd supply their every need. He promised He'd supply our every need. He never told them, "I will make a way of healing; I will make a way of this; I will make a way of that." He said, "I will be with you." Hallelujah. That's what He said to us. "I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world." That's all I have to say. You don't have to argue this, that, or the other. If He's here, that satisfies me; Divine healing's here; power is here. Everything He was there, He is now, "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever." So you can take your theology and drown with it. Jesus said, in leaving the earth, "A little while and the world will see Me no more. Yet ye shall see Me, for I will be with you, even in youto the end of the world." That Scripture? At this point, Jesus not only replaced the Holy Spirit, Jesus became named as the ‘Person’ of the Holy Spirit.

He lived here once with us on earth in the form of a Man. God lived in His Son, Christ Jesus, as the God-man. And He returned into glory, leaving this Word, "A little while and the world will see Me no more. Yet, ye shall see Me, for I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world." The Person of the Holy Spirit, God, returning in the form He... Jesus said, "I came from God; I go to God." He came out of eternity, stepped down into time, went out of time, back into eternity. And the world knew Him not. "He was in the world, the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not. But as many as received Him, they--give them the power to become sons of God."

And ye, the believers will see Him plumb on to the end of the world. Hebrews 13:8, said, "Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today, and forever." Watch Him in His power, the same Lord Jesus, the same love, the same wonders, the same signs that followed Him, moving right on down. The strange part about 1954 is the sermon “Questions and Answers.” When confronted on this strange doctrine by a Trinitarian, Branham separates the three Persons in the Godhead onto one single three-foot rule. Oddly, this is the Mormon view of the Trinity.

God is like a three-foot rule, or, a three-foot rule, yes. The first twelve-inches was God, the Father; the second twelve-inches, God, the Son, the same God; third twelve-inches was God, the Holy Ghost, the same God. Jesus said...

You say, "Well, we got the Holy Ghost in us." That's right. But Jesus said, "A little while, and the world seeth Me no more. Yet you'll see Me, for I," I is a personal pronoun, "I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world." Where's the Holy Ghost at, then? "I'll not leave you comfortless; I'll come again and be with you." That's it. 54-0515 QUESTIONS.AND.ANSWERS

Preaching to a mixed audience in Washington, DC, Branham blames others who do not know this subtle change in the scriptures on their missed theology.

Your theology might've bypassed it somewhere, but that's the way it's written in the Bible: "I will be with you, even in you to the end of the world." 54-0624 THE.DEEP.CALLETH.TO.THE.DEEP

Notice, Jesus in His last words here on earth, some of them, He said, "A little while, and the world seeth Me no more; yet you shall see Me: for I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world." Another statement He said, "The things that I do shall you do also; even greater for I go to My Father."

And Jesus Christ can send that same ministry by man, ministered by Angels, and the world, America in whole, has looked upon it and criticized it. That's right. What's left then, but sink in the sea, hopeless. That's all. Don't be afraid, friends. 54-0720E IT.IS.I.BE.NOT.AFRAID

Now, He said, "The things that I do, you shall do, also, always even to the end of the world. I will be with you even in you, manifesting the same thing to the end of the world." Is that Scripture? "A little while and the world will see Me no more, yet ye shall see Me, for I (personal pronoun) will be with you (He said just the disciples. Oh, no.) even in you until the end of the world," making Jesus Christ the same, yesterday, today, and forever. 54-0900 HAVE.FAITH.IN.GOD

It was at this point in 1954 that Branham started teaching the listeners like little school children. He was start the beginning of the scripture that was modified with the subtle change, and then challenge the listeners to complete the sentence.

Now, I have explained to you, that Jesus, when He raised from the dead, before He went away first, He said, "The things that I do shall you

also." Is that right? Did He say it? And He said, "Even more (or greater) than this shall you do, for I go to My Father." And He said, "A little while and the world won't see Me no more (That's the unbeliever: 'kosmos,' the Greek word there, 'world order') will see Me no more; yet you shall see Me (ye, the Church), for I (personal pronoun, as I said,), I will be with you, even in you, until this generation ceases." That don't sound right, does it? "I'll be with you, even in you, to the end of the world." Is that right? "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever..." Now, quickly, while we close. He said, "A little while and the world ('kosmos,' the word meaning 'the world order.')... A little while and the world will see Me no more. (The world's the unbeliever, the self-styled, the starchy, the heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God.) They'll see Me no more, yet ye shall see Me." There's going to be some "world." There's going to be some "ye's." "Ye shall see Me (the believer), "for I (personal pronoun), for I will be with you, even in you (until the apostles are gone? No, sir.) until the end of the world." Is that right? "I go away. But I come again." Is that right? "And I will be with you, even in you, to the end of

the world": Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever. No plainer Gospel, I do not know any more plainer Gospel.

He said, "A little while and the world will see Me no more, yet ye shall see Me (That's the believer.). The world (the unbeliever) won't see Me no more," cause He'd be gone. That settles it. Said, "The world will see Me no more; yet ye shall see Me. For I will be with you, even in you to the end of the world." That's--that's His own words. Is that right? Now, friends, that's either right or it is wrong. Hebrews 13:8 said, "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever." And if it is right, He's obligated to His Word. And if it isn't right, then the Scripture, the Bible is not a Book to be trusted. To me, it's either black or white. It's right or wrong. So then He said, "Now, a little while, and the world won't see Me no more, yet you shall see Me." Now, listen at this, "Yet ye shall see Me." The "ye," who was He talking to? Believers. Is that right? He said, "Ye shall see Me. For I (not someone else), for I will be with you, even in you, to..." the end of the apostles?" To how

long? "The end of the world." All the way through, Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever. Now, "I go away. I'll pray the Father; He will give you another Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost." "I," personal pronoun, which was the body. "I go away. I pray the Father, before I go; the Father is in Me. And He will send you another comforter, which is the Holy Ghost. He's in Me now. When He comes, He will reprove the world of sin. And the very same things that I do, shall you do. Now, I want you to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature." The Gospel's the demonstration of the power of God. See? The one Gos... Paul said, "The Gospel come not in word only, but through power and demonstration of the Holy Ghost." "Now, go ye into all the world and preach the gospel. Lo, I am with you always, even..." to the end of the apostles? No. I mean, "To the end-- end of the world. A little while and the world won't see Me no more." They'll criticize It and make fun of It, just like they do now, He said. "But ye, the believer, shall see Me; for I'll be with you, even in you, all the way to the end of the world." 1955

By 1955, the followers of William Branham had this phrase memorized. Thinking it was actual bible scripture, the congregation had taken it to their hearts and minds as though it were God’s Word.

Now, the first phase of Branham’s plan was fulfilled, and the second phase could begin. This subtle addition would be applied to his own ministry.

The “even in you” addition was starting to be applied to the special powers that he claimed to have in healing and prophecy. At first, this also was subtle, but over time would grow in its strength until the followers truly believed that Christ had came down in the form of William Branham.

Speaking: "A little while and the world seeth Me no more. Yet ye shall see Me, for I ("I," is a personal pronoun), I will be with you, even in you to the end of the world." As directing our minds to His great, supreme sacrifice as a Forerunner of our blessed hope we have within the veil, now. Then by faith we believe it. Our anchor goes out there and the points set in the Word of God, sticks within the veil and a prayer line through here holds us steadfast to the promise, not wavering about, tossed about with every wind of doctrine, but

Now, Jesus said, "He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do, also even more than this." The right translation is "more." The- -the King James here says "greater," which "greater" which means not--not in quality, it couldn't be greater, but in quantity, 'cause He could be all over the world. He could be doing the works here, and in Italy, and in Paris, and everywhere else doing the work. "More than this shall you do for I go unto My Father. Jesus continued to be limited in deity and power. Parables were changed into prophecy.

But He said, "I will be with you always, even to the end of the world. And the things that I do, shall you also. For I will be with you, even in you to the end of the world." Now, Jesus speaking and giving them an--a--a-- a parable, or I would say of prophecy in one way and another way, it was an example.

He said, "As Moses lifted up the brass serpent in the wilderness." We go back to the children of Israel for a few moments to base our thoughts. And we'll hurry and see what the Holy Spirit will have us to look into. These things are not premeditated. I just come here and read a Scripture. He also continued driving a wedge between his following and the rest of the world. This promise was to become limited in scope, only to be given to his own following.

Now, when we see Him doing those things... Now, if He's the same yesterday, today, and forever, well, of course He does the same yesterday, today, and forever. Now, when He went away, He said, "A little while and the world will see Me no more. Yet you shall see Me, for..." Now, how... Who is that you? Someone might say, "That's--that was the disciples He was talking to." Well, how could this be then? He said, "A little while and the world won't see Me any more, yet you shall see Me, for I will be with you, even in you to the end of the world." Now, the disciples has been dead two thousand years, right on it. So there has to be some you's that'll see Him all the way to the end of the

world. And there's got to be some world that will not see Him any more. Aren't you happy tonight you're ye? "If ye believe..." Now, we're so happy for this. 55-0116E JESUS.CHRIST.THE.SAME.YESTERDAY TODAY.AND.FOREVER

Jesus began to see visions from the Father, just as Branham claimed to do.

Listen at Jesus remark back. He said, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, the Son can do nothing in Himself, but what the Father shows Me. What I see the Father doing, the Father shows Me, and then I go do it." In other words Jesus done nothing in Himself until He saw a vision of what the Father said do. Then He went and done it. That's Christianity: doing the will of God. That was His life. That's what Jesus did. Now, what did He say when He went away? We're contending for the faith that was once delivered. It had to come from somewhere if it was delivered to the saints. Is that right? The faith that was once delivered unto the saints, who delivered it? He said, "A little while and the world will see Me no more. Yet, you shall see Me, for I will be with you even in you, to the end of the world; and the things that I do shall you also." Even more than this, for I go to My Father." You get it? What was it?

The world that could se Jesus no more changed from the age of Christ into the Christians who did not believe in William Branham.

Jesus said, "A little while and the world will see Me no more." The word there is "Kosmos," meaning the "world order." "The world will see Me no more, no more. Yet ye shall see Me." Now, he said, "Sure, that was the disciples." See what He said. "Ye shall see Me for I (personal pronoun), for I will be with you, even in you to the end of the world." Is that right? Who's... Now, there's got to be some world's today that won't see it. And there's got to be some "ye's" that will see it. The Bible said in Hebrews 13:8, "Jesus Christ is the same..." Same in principle, same in power, same in love, same in compassion, "The same yesterday, today, and forever..." Is that right? Jesus died and rose again and we believe that He rose from the dead. He isn't dead now. He's a living. We try to make Him dead. But He's alive anyhow. He's alive. 55-0220E CONTEND.FOR.THE.FAITH_

Branham considered his version of the Gospel to be the truth, and those who did not accept his truth would walk in darkness.

Notice Him now. And when they got to the Red Sea, the Red Sea got in the way of God. Think of that. The Red Sea got in God's way. God was moving on with His children. Do you believe He's with His children today? "A little while and the world won't see Me no more; yet ye shall see Me, for I will be with you, even in you to the end of the world." God moving with His children... Now, notice, here's another beautiful picture. We don't get too much into it, but notice, that when Pharaoh's army was just about to overtake Israel, because they had to halt, the sea was before them, an obstacle. But before God could move them through the sea, and move back the sea, the Pillar of Fire went over and stood between Pharaoh and Israel. And what was light to Israel was dark to Pharaoh. You see it? If you won't accept the truth, it'll become darkness, and you'll walk in darkness. "He that sins wilfully, after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sin." 55-0224 WATER.FROM.THE.ROCK

He said, "A little while, and the world will see Me no more. The world (the unbeliever,) will see Me no more: yet you shall see Me (ye), for I will be with you, even in you to the end of the world." How long will it be? "To the end of the world," not to the apostles age, "to the end of the world." Is that right? The Scripture says, "He's the same yesterday, today, and forever." Jesus said, "Now, these things that I do shall you also; even more than this ('Greater' is the word there, but the right translation's 'more.'), more than this shall you do; for I go unto My Father." That wedge between the followers of Branham and the rest of the Christian world became deeper and deeper. In the classroom-like manner he injected that subtle difference in the scriptures, he began to teach that the ‘world’ Jesus spoke about was the ‘unbeliever.’

So now, if Jesus has risen from the dead, He is not dead, He is risen from the dead. He said, "The things that I do, shall you do also. More than this shall you do, for I go to My Father." Is that right? "A little while and the world sees Me no more (That's the unbeliever.), yet ye shall see Me, for I (personal pronoun), I will be with you, even in you (Till how long? The apostle's age?), to the end of the world. Jesus

Branham’s claim to have the same power as Christ, which he had already limited to a prophet, started to become more evident.

Though some visions were completely fabricated, such as the Municipal Bridge vision, Branham claimed that they were directly from God Himself.

Well, if He's the same in power, same in respect, same in attitude, same in all, He's the same in everything, yesterday, today, and forever. He said, "A little while and the world won't see Me no more (that's the unbeliever), yet ye shall see Me (that's the believer), for I ('I,' as I say is a personal pronoun), I will be with you, even in you (not just through the apostles' age) until the end of the world," Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today, and forever. Now, we're going to pray for the sick. In a few moments... I'm not a healer. I'm just like you are, a sinner saved be grace; that's all. And the Lord has... When I was born a little baby up there in the mountains, this Light here that we have, many of you seen It, that was hanging over my little

crib bed that I was in, little trundle affair; had been with me ever since. It's not me that sees the visions; it's Him that shows them. So it's nothing I have. See? It's what God has given to you. It's not my faith that does it; it's your faith. Your faith does the moving of It itself. I can't make It move; it's you that makes It move. See? You have to believe It yourself. Even Judas was given power in Branham’s stories when he described this scripture that was subtly changed.

Christ, Son of God, come from heaven, returning back to heaven, taking with Him the believer... Judas, the son of perdition, coming from hell, returning back to hell, taking with him the unrepented sinner, you get it? Now, Christ, when He came on earth, and then when He went back, "A little while, and," He said, "the world will see Me no more; yet ye shall see Me, for I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world." Now, about the time that the Holy Spirit came back upon the church to pull out a people for the Bride, the antichrist came back also. every spirit that confesses that Jesus has not come in the flesh, is not the Spirit of God: and this is the spirit of antichrist that should come into the world, and already in the world working in the children of disobedience." 55-0311 THE.SEAL.OF.THE.ANTICHRIST

He continued to associate the “world will see me (Jesus) no more” to an invisible person.

Now, if the Holy Spirit is here, invisible Person, He knows this woman, He knows me. He can anoint me to tell her and talk to her a few minutes, like the man, like the woman at the well of--the--the Samaritan woman, and can tell her just exactly what she's here for. And the woman said... Here was her testimony according to the Scriptures. She said, "I know that that is the sign of the Messiah. We know when Messiah, cometh He... but Who are You? " She said... He said, "I am He." Now, I am not He, but I am His minister that declares that He is here like He said He'd be, in us, manifesting Hisself: "The world won't see Me no more, but you'll see Me. You'll see Me, for I will be with you, even in you... end of the world, manifesting, doing the same things that I did. I'm the same yesterday, today, and forever." Now, do you understand everyone? That's the faith that was once delivered to the saints. God have mercy on us tonight, friends, that we will get down and contend for that same faith, for Jesus said, "A little while and the world won't see Me no more; yet ye shall see Me, for I (which is a personal pronoun), I will be with you, even in you to the end of the world." Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever...

To the almighty God, all things are known. Branham continued to compare Jesus Christ to himself, pointing out that Jesus Christ could “perceive the people’s thoughts” just as Branham could. Jesus Christ knew their thoughts before they were in their own minds.

Now, I want you to listen close. Jesus when He went away, He--He said to His disciples, "Go into all the world." That was Zurich also. "All the world, preach the Gospel to every creature. These signs shall follow them that believe." In all the signs that He gave, one of them was lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. Jesus said, "These things that I do..." What are these things? To look out in the audience; He perceived the people's thoughts. He knew when they'd come to Him where they had been and if they... Then He said, "These things that I do, shall you also for I ('I' is personal pronoun.) I

will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world," not the end of the apostles, to the end of the world, to the end of civilization. The Bible said, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever." If you believe that, say, "Amen." [Congregation says, "Amen."- -Ed.] He has raised from the dead. He said to the apostles (Listen.), "A little while and the world will see Me no more." That meant the world order, the unbelievers. "The unbelievers will see Me no more. Yet you shall see Me (ye,) for I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world."

He also continued separating those that would see the signs of Jesus from those who did not, pointing to the fact that others did not see Christ in Branham’s ministry. Though Jesus was referring to his own crucifixion, Branham continued to lead the people to believe that these words meant something else.

When they come to Him on this--on His prayer line, He would know what was wrong with them. And He said, "Now, these things that I do, shall you do also, even more than this shall you do, for I go to My Father." He said, "A little while and the world won't see Me no more, yet ye shall see Me." Now notice, He designated two classes of people. One of them was called the world, the unbeliever; they will never see Him no

more. And then He's got some "ye's." He said, "Ye shall see Me." That's believers. For He said, "I will be with you, even in you, until the end of the world." Doesn't that make Him the same yesterday, today, and forever? He is here in the form of the Holy Spirit. We are living in a--a wonderful day. We're living in the day just before the second coming of the Lord Jesus. I am not saying this to scare you. Your heart be right with God, it's a joy to you to know that He will come.

Some were already convinced that Branham’s authoritative teaching was not from God, and it can be assumed that many of his followers had heard the reasons. He would point that concept to his healing ministry instead of his subtle changes in the scriptures, using the “slight of hand” technique. All the while, within the same few sentences, slipping in extra words into the scriptures.

You dear people, belong to church of Christ, back there, you say, "That's of the devil." It is? Then the Bible is of the devil. See? The Bible said, "They'll lay hands on the sick; they shall recover. I will be with you, even in you to the end of the world." No uncertain sound.

Be careful, you hear a lot of church theology that's uncertain sounds. It don't co--with the Bible. Paul said, "If the--if the trumpet don't give a certain sound, how can we know who's to prepare for battle?" Yes, sir. Oh, my.

Notice it. How beautiful. The Father, speaking from the heavens, when He was obedient to baptism, said, "This is My beloved Son in Whom I'm pleased to dwell in." No wonder Jesus could say, "All the power in heavens and earth is given unto My hands." Here He goes. Now, let's watch His life. I think, is a beautiful, the first thing that we see Him doing, beginning to pray for the sick. Let's take Him in one of His first meetings in Luke the 1st chapter. Now, let's type back and see what Jesus was that day. 55-0806 JESUS.CHRIST.THE.SAME YESTERDAY.TODAY.AND.FOREVER

Each time he would mention the “Son can do nothing in Himself” scripture, Branham would slip in the words “even in you.”

But God didn't do it that way. He went to a man that only had a prostate trouble, or something that he had thirty-eight years, and healed him, and walked away. So they questioned Him. They do the same thing today. Now, listen to what Jesus said; Jesus said, "Verily, verily... Son can do nothing in Himself, but what He sees the Father doing: that doeth the Son likewise." Saint John 5:19, is that right? Then Jesus' own words said that He did not perform any miracle or do anything, until the Father showed Him by a vision, first to do, what to do. Then He went and done what the Father showed Him. Now, Jesus said "These things that I do, shall you also," is that right? "More than this shall you do, for I go unto My Father." He said, "A little while and the world (not--not world; it's kosmos, the world order, the world. unbeliever), the world will see Me no more. The world won't see Me no more after I'm crucified; they won't see Me no more, Yet ye shall see Me (the believer), for 'I,'( personal pronoun), I will be with you, even in you, till the end of the world." "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever." 55-1001 EXPECTATION

There's where his faith was anchored. There's where every man and woman faith to be anchored tonight is upon the living Word of God. You believe that, you can put it in action. Jesus when he was here on earth. He said, "Verily, verily I say unto you, I can do nothing in myself; I'm the Son, I can do nothing; but what the Father shows Me, that I do. I come to do the will of God." And when He went away he said this ministry shall not cease now. "For the very things that I do, you will do also. For I will be with you, even in you to the end of the

world." And this will be a sign," Hallelujah. "The very things that I do, shall you do till the end of the world." 55-1003 FAITH.IN.ACTION

Now, listen close. He said, "A little while and the world will see Me no more. (That's the unbeliever.) As soon as I'm gone, the world will see me no more. Yet ye shall see me, for I (personal pronoun), I will be with you to the end of the world." Why? Not just that generation would see Him, but every generation to the end of the world would see Him. Now, how are we going to see Him? He said, "I'll be with you, even in you. The things that I do, shall you do also. I'll be in you carrying on My work," God only in the form of the Holy Ghost to the end of the world. Amen. 55-1008 THE.RESULTS.OF.DECISION

And sinner friend, if you're here, or lukewarm church member, these things that you see going on here in the tent at nighttime, the Holy Spirit making manifest the resurrection of Jesus. It's the covenant that God said and poured it out through Christ. "The same very same things that I do shall you also. Even more than this, for I go to My Father. A little while and the world will see Me no more, yet you

shall see Me, for I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world." I'm not excited. I'm feeling good. I feel very religious. Because why? The Holy Spirit, it's not a guess so; it's not a maybe so; it's not probably so; it's not I'm guessing at it. But I know that Jesus Christ lives and reigns tonight, and He's the same yesterday, today, and forever. His Holy Spirit is here in the building tonight to do the very same thing He done upon earth, if He can find the very same faith. Amen. We'll begin here, tomorrow night. 1956

Branham had been slipping his rudimentary knowledge of the few Greek words he knew into the sermons before, but in 1956, this became more prevalent. But it was not the meanings that most Christians would introduce into the churches, he would choose to emphasize words and translations that would support the religion of the Masons.

The word “kosmos” literally means the opposite of chaos. Kosmos refers to perfect order and harmony, from every star positioned in every galaxy to every grain of sand in the ocean. In Christian theology, this meaning is specifically referring to this world as opposed to the world that is to come. It is used synonymously with the word aion, which means “worldly life” or “this life.”

"Occultists the world over believe that, once a symbol is created, it acquires power of its own, and more power is generated when such symbol(s) are created without the profane [uninitiated] knowing about it. And, the greatest power of all is created in the symbol(s) if the uninitiated NEVER discover that the symbol exists. Branham continued with the subtle addition of words to the scriptures, and started focusing on the World Order.

Saint John 14:7. He said, "The things... He that believeth on Me, the works that I do, shall he do also." Did He say that? Is that inspired? That's the Word of God.

Jesus said, "A little while, and the world will see Me no more." What is the world? The Greek word "kosmos" there, which means "the world order." See? "The world, the unbelievers will see Me no more." I'll put it like that. "A little while, and the unbelievers will see Me no more; yet ye shall see Me (ye): for I'll be with you to the end of the world." I'll be with you, and

again He said, "I'll be in you, be with you, even in you unto the end of the world." Now, what was it? The people who could only see with the natural sight, understanding with their natural understanding, with their mental thinking, that's the end of Jesus forever for them, until the judgment. "The world will see Me no more; yet you shall see Me, for I will be with you to the end of the world." And 'I' is a personal pronoun which means that Jesus has to be here the same tonight to every believer that He was then, or He did not raise from the dead. The doctrine of the Masons would start to be integrated into the teachings of Branham, especially the teachings of “Light.”

Then they looked forward to a time to a great glorious Church, that would be without spot or wrinkle, that would shine in the earth as a star. They looked for that time. How's it going to be? He'd been dead for three days and nights; He rose again; He appeared unto the five hundred, and He ascended into heaven. He left them on earth here alone. How could it be this glorious Church when the Leader was gone? God promised the Church, how could it be? The Light that would shine in His place after Him being gone, when He said there, "A little while, and the world sees Me no more; yet you'll see

Me: for I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world. The things that I do shall you also. Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel. These signs shall follow them that believe." 56-0304 MAKING.A.WAY

Like Branham, “Light” is the Gnostic theology taught by the Freemasons. It was a theology that was carried down through the centuries, hidden in shadows by the secret societies.

To find the real origin of Masonry we must go far back into the past, back before history. All the world over, at a certain stage of culture, men bowed down in worship of the sun, moon and the stars. In prehistoric graves the body was always buried in a sitting position, and always facing to the East, that the sleeper might be ready to spring up early to face the new and brighter day.

Such was the wonder of light and its power over man, and it is not strange that he rejoiced in its beauty, lifting up hands of praise. The Dawn was the first Altar in the old Light Religion of the race. Sunrise was an hour of prayer, and sunset, with its soft farewell fires, was the hour of sacrifice. After all, religion is a Divine Poetry, of which creeds are prose versions. Gleams of this old Light religion shine all through Masonry, in its faith, in its symbols,

and still more in its effort to organize the light of God in the Soul of Man.

Such a faith is in accord with all the poetries and pieties of the race. Light is the loveliest gift of God to man; it is the mother of beauty and the joy of the world. It tells man all that he knows, and it is no wonder that his speech about it is gladsome and grateful. Light is to the mind what food is to the body; it brings the morning, when the shadows flee away, and the loveliness of the world is unveiled.

Also, there is a mystery in light. It is not matter, but a form of motion; it is not spirit, though is seems closely akin to it. Midway between the material and the spiritual, it is the gateway where matter and spirit pass and repass. Of all the glories in its gentleness, its benignity, its pity, falling with impartial benediction alike upon the just and the unjust, upon the splendor of wealth and the squalor of poverty.

Yes, God is light, and the mission of Masonry is to open the windows of the mind of man, letting the dim spark within us meet and blend with the light of God, in whom there is no darkness. There is “A Light That Lighteth Every Man That Cometh Into The World,” as we learn in the Book of Holy Law; but too often it is made dim by evil, error and ignorance; until it seems well nigh to have gone out. Here

now some of the most terrible words in the Bible: “Eyes they have, but they do not see.” How many tragedies it explains, how many sorrows it accounts for. Most of our bigotries and brutalities are due to blindness. Most of the cruel wrongs we inflict upon each other are the blows and blunders of the sightless. Othello was blinded by jealousy, Macbeth by ambition; as we are apt to be blinded by passion, prejudice or greed.

With merciful clarity Jesus saw that men do awful things without seeing what they do. “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.” The pages of history are blacker than the hearts of the men that made the history. Man is not as wicked as the wrongs he has done. Unless we see this fact, much of the history of man will read like the records of hell - remembering the atrocities of the Inquisition, the terrors of the French Revolution, and the red horror of Russia. It is all a hideous nightmare - man stumbling and striking in the dark.

No, humanity is more blind than bad. In his play, “St. Joan,” Shaw makes one of his characters say: “If you only saw what you think about, you would think quite differently about it. It would give you a great shock. I am not cruel by nature, but I did not know what cruelty was like. I have been a different man ever since.” Alas, he did not see what he had

done until the hoodwink had been taken off. More and more some of us divide men into two classes - those who see and those who do not see. The whole quality and meaning of life lies in what men see or fail to see. And what we see depends upon what we are. In the Book of the Holy Law the verb “to see” is close akin to the verb “to be,” which is to teach us that character is the secret and source of insight. Virtue is vision; vice is blindness.

“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see god.”

Thus our gentle Masonry, by seeking to “Bring Men to Light,” not simply symbolically but morally and spiritually, is trying to lift the shadow of evil, ignorance and injustice off the life of man. It is a benign labor, to which we may well give the best that we are or hope to be, toiling to spread the skirts of light that we and all men may see what is true and do what is right.

What the sad world needs - what each of us needs - is more light, more love, more clarity of mind and more charity of heart; and this is what Masonry is trying to give us. Once we take it to heart, it will help us to see God in the face of our fellows, to see the power of a lie and its inherent weakness because it is false, to see the glory of truth and its final victory - to see

these things is to be a Mason, to see these things is to be saved.

O Light that followeth all my way, I yield my flickering torch to thee; Masonic World

That same Lamb that was slain a few days later there at Calvary, the grave couldn't hold Him on Easter morning. He rose up. And He showed Hisself alive. He said, "Now, the works that I do shall you also. I'll be with you, even in you, to the end of the world. A little while and the world won't see Me no more (The unbeliever, their hearts will be hardened.), yet ye shall see Me: for I will be with you to the end of the world. And the works that I do shall you do also; more than this shall you do, for I go to My Father." That Lamb was provided for the whole human race: God's Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. Until that time in a visible form by faith, they drawed dividends from His vicarious suffering, which was in the future. Since then we have drawed off of His dividends from His vicarious suffer, which was in the past, with the Holy Ghost in our presence vindicating the truth being here. 56-0414 BLIND.BARTIMAEUS

Then if Jesus, when He was here on earth, He said, "He that believeth on Me..." Saint John the 12th chapter and the 14th verse, I believe it is, He said, "He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also. More than this shall he do for I go unto My Father." Jesus said, "A little while and the world (That's the world order.), the world will see Me no more. Yet ye shall see Me for I (And 'I' is a personal pronoun.), I will be with you to the end of the world. I'll even be in you to the end of the world, with you, even in you. He also began to emphasize the “world will see me no more.” He would begin replacing “world” with his own interpretation, another subtle change that was immediately before the first subtle change.

And so Jesus said, "A little while and them unbelievers (which will be massive, by the millions), they won't see Me no more; yet ye shall see Me, the believer, for I ('I,' as I said, is a personal pronoun), I will be with you (How long?) to the end of the world. I'll be

even in you to the end of the world, and the very same things that I do shall you do also." And the Bible said that, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever." Now, if He will come and do that tonight, after saying that He did it, and He promised He would do it, and if we'll project that love to Him, He's duty bound to do it. Now, God has set in the Church, some teachers, evangelists, prophets, all for the perfecting or growing the church together. 56-0814 DIVINE.LOVE.AND SOVEREIGN.GRACE

1957

In 1957, Branham would focus on those “unbelievers” in his newly modified scripture, and replace it with all kinds of religious groups and organizations that the listeners already knew were not Christian. In their minds, they would begin associating the false religions of the world with this word ‘world.’

Well, now, if we wanted to know if there's all... There's all kinds of religions in the world. But there's only one (And they are just simply making creed already out of that), and that's the Christian religion that the Founder of this religion is alive yet. The rest of them are dead. Mohammedans, Buddha, all the rest of them are dead and in the grave. But Jesus is the only One Who has an empty tomb. He's alive. And He's with us. He promised, when He was here on earth... Now, listen close. Did He say that the things that He did that we would do also? Did He promise that? Did He say, "A little while and the world (that's the world order, church members and so forth), won't see Me no more."? Did He say that? "Yet, ye shall see Me (That's the church, the body. Is that right?), for I will be with you," and He said, "even in you to the end of the world." Is that right? 57-0105 HEAR.YE.HIM

So there's all kinds of isms. But there's one genuine Christian religion, and Jesus Christ is the Author of that faith, and He died, and rose again, and He said, "The things, the works that I do shall you do also; more than this shall you do (I know the King James said, "greater," but you look and see if that isn't more.)--more than this..." 'cause He'd be in the church everywhere. "More than this shall you do, for I go unto My Father. A little while and the world will see Me no more. Yet ye shall see Me. I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world. Go ye into all the world and demonstrate the power of the Holy Ghost to every creature. These signs shall follow them that believe." How far? All the world. How many? Every creature. Two thirds of the world don't even know the Name of Jesus tonight. The Gospel's still in force, and will be till Christ comes. Then the Spirit, the contract, will be lifted with the body, and the redeemed by the Blood will come together in husband and wife, as King and Queen, will set on a throne of David and rule the earth. 57-0106 JEHOVAH.JIREH

And for this people who are here tonight confessing their faith in Thee, believing that Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God, that has both died, buried, and rose again for our justification, and has sent back the Holy Spirit tonight to fulfill the Word that He

promised, "The things that I do, shall you also. Even more than this shall you do, for I go to the Father. A little while and the world won't see Me no more. Yet ye shall see Me, for I will be with you, even in you to the end of the world." 57-0228 A.GREATER.THAN SOLOMON.IS.HERE_

Did He say, "A little while and the world won't see Me no more"? But He said, "Yet ye shall see Me, for I will be with you (How long?) to the end of the world." All the way... The world has never come to an end yet. 57-0302 AND.THEN.JESUS.CAME

Those that did not follow his teachings would be under the scriptures of condemnation by Branham.

But our blessed Lord said while He was here on earth, "A little while, and the world will see Me no more." Now, that word "world' there, comes from "the world order, the peoples of the earth." "The world will see Me no more. Yet ye shall see Me, for I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world." Now, those Words are just as true as any of the other Words that we have spoken through this week out of the Bible, just as true as any other Words in the Bible. eyes opened. There's people that's borned in the world, not by the will of God, but by their own selfish choice would not believe Him if He was standing right here talking to you tonight. It's sad to say, but the Bible said that, "They were borned in this world, to this condemnation," Jude, and about the 3rd verse. 57-0421E AND.THEIR.EYES.WERE OPENED.AND.THEY.KNEW.HIM

America itself fell into this category of “the world.”

And America sets with her arms folded, and the rest the world say, "You bunch of fanatics." Newspapers giving the dirtiest write-ups they can get, God showing signs and wonders, just exactly. He said, "He's the same yesterday, today, and forever. He will do the very... He that believeth in Me, the works that I do shall he also. I'll be with you always, even to the end of the world. A little while and the world won't see Me no more; yet you shall see Me, for I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world." The things, this life that I live, the things that I do, do the same thing. Them signs are manifested, and people just set down say, "I'm a Presbyterian. I'm Pentecostal." But brother, are you a Christian? Are you ready to meet it? That's the thing. 57-0519E LOVE_ SASKATOON.SK

Those who followed the healing campaigns and realized that his estimations of the number of people healed were fabricated were condemned. They were lumped into “the world.”

Just look what's taken place. I'm just a little, teeny pebble to the great beach of great stones. But right in my own ministry, I have seen tens of thousands of people healed. The people are always complaining, "We never seen a miracle, there's not..." No wonder you can't see it. The Bible said you can't see it. You're blind, willfully blind. If the Bible said you'd never see it no more, you won't see it. But He said, "Ye shall see Me (the believer), for I will be with you, even in you to the end of the world. The works that I do shall you also." There you are. It's before the world. Christ will come. He will be the judge. But before He can bring judgment, He has to offer mercy to be a just God. And if He offers mercy and mercy is spurned, then there's nothing left but judgment. And you've judged yourself by rejecting Him. And the Holy Spirit when He come was to bear witness of Jesus. Now, if that isn't true, then God promised something that He wasn't able to do. 57-0614 THE.QUEEN.OF.THE.SOUTH

As we’ve already proven in previous books, not a single vision was correct. Even the number of visions becomes a fabrication.

And one night while praying for God to never do it again, the Angel of the Lord, not a vision now, the Angel of the Lord walked right in front of me and told me what it was, and told me it was a sign in the last days, that this would go forth, and said what for me to do. And if I'd be reverent, this other would be added. And some of my first meetings was right here at Canada. And everything that He said, I'll take anyone to record tonight; He's never said one word wrong in the tens of thousands of visions. What is it? Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever. He said, "I am the Vine; ye are the branches." Now, the vine doesn't bear fruit; it only puts the life into the branch, and the branch bears fruit. We know that. In 1958, Branham started associating the words “Gentile age” to the scripture that had subtly been changed. Branham would later claim that he was the “angel” to the Gentile age, and eventually would claim that Jesus Christ would come in the form of Elijah the prophet. Elijah would be associated with this “angel” of the Gentile age.

Grant now, Lord, that He will come and comfort and reveal Himself as the Son of God from heaven, the same yesterday, today, and forever, in the closing of this Gentile age. As Thou hast been to us in the last few years, permitting these things to be done for Your glory, may it be done again tonight for the Gospel's sake, that the Words of our Lord might be made manifest, which said, "The things that I do, shall you also; even more of it, for I go to My Father. A little while and the world will see Me no more; yet ye shall see Me. I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world." Thank You, Lord. We thank Thee in the Name of Thy loving Son, the Lord Jesus. Amen. 58-0109 THE.CALLED.OUT

Now, watch. If He has raised from the dead, He's here. He promised "Wherever two or more would gather in My Name, I'll be in their midst." He said, "The works that I do shall you also. A little while and the unbelievers will

never see Me again." They'll go on, Beelzebub and so forth. It's nothing to it. "But ye shall see Me, for I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world." Here He is at the end of the Gentile age, doing the same thing that He did. 58-0125 THE.QUEEN.OF.THE.SOUTH

The 19th verse He was questioned. And here's the answer of the Son of God to those Jews. "Verily, verily, I say unto you, the Son can do nothing in Himself, but what He sees the Father doing; that doeth the Son likewise." Is that right? "I can do nothing in Myself until the Father shows Me. The Father worketh and I worketh hitherto." See? Jesus never performed one miracle without God first showing Him, or He told something wrong. And He couldn't tell nothing wrong, because He was God. And therefore, Jesus said these things: "The works that I do shall you also. A little while and the world sees Me no more, yet ye shall see Me, for I will be with you." And "I" again is a pronoun, or a personal pronoun...?... be with you. In one place He said, "Even in you to the end of the world..." Then if Christ has come... If time... You say, "Brother Branham, through the age." That's right. How many Christians are in here? Let's see your hands, real believers? Then it represents your Saviour. Now, if Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever, as we are the vine; He's the branch. Then the vine will have to bring forth the type of life that... The branch, rather, will bring forth the type of life that's in the vine. Is that right? He said, "The works, these things that I do shall you also." Did He say it? "A little while and the world ('Kosmos' there means 'world order.') will see Me no more, yet ye shall see Me for I will be with you, even in you till the end of the world." Now, it's up to you. Now, please, no going or coming. If you have to go for the next few minutes, do it now. Be real reverent for we're not dealing with nothing but spirit, so be real reverent now, for just a few moments. Now, look this way all you Christians. Looky here: Here's God's Word. Is It right, or is It wrong? It's right. Now, if It's right, I have said it: How many believes I've quoted the Bible just exactly? Sure. The promise of Christ. If Christ will keep that promise to manifest Himself like He said: "The... little while, and the world won't see me no more." What's that? The unbeliever. "The world will see me no more; yet ye shall see me: for I" (and "I" is a personal

pronoun), "I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world. The works that I do shall you also; more than this; because I go to the Father." Return back to Spirit again, could be in His church universal. He could only be in one place when He was manifested in Christ; He's manifested in the church today. "Christ, the same yesterday, today, and forever." One Word from Christ will mean more than any preacher could say in fifty lifetimes. Now let us be reverent. 58-0301E HEAR.YE.HIM

I believe the Word is infallible. And it says He's the same yesterday, today, and forever. Now, how can He be the same? Now, He's the same in principle, same in power, same in attitude. The only thing different in Jesus being from yesterday, if this is His promise. Then He had a corporal body here on earth like we have. But that body was given for a Sacrifice, raised up from the dead, sets at the right hand of the Father to make intercessions upon our confession. And then He said, "A little while, and the world sees Me no more; yet ye shall see Me." And that word "world" means the world order, the unbeliever. "They will see Me no more; yet ye shall see Me (That's the church, the believer.), for I will be with you, even in you, to the end

Watch. How did He know it? Because He knew he had been this way for a long time. God had showed Him where to go. Now, when He was questioned of it, Saint John 5:19, think of it now, 5:19, when they was questioning Him, Jesus said, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, the Son can do nothing in Himself, but what He sees the Father doing." How many knows that's Scripture? All right. What is it? He never did one miracle, never performed one thing until God the Father showed Him what to do, and God the Father was in Him. "A little while and the world will see Me no more, yet ye shall me, for I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world. The works that I do shall you do also. Lo, I am with you always." Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever... If for healing, it's already purchased. Jesus said, "These things that I do shall you also. Greater than this shall you do because I go to My Father. A little while and the world won't see Me no more, yet, ye shall see Me, for I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world." How many knows that's true? How many knows in Saint John 5:19, that Jesus passing through the pool of Bethesda where all the people were laying lame, halt, blind, thousands of them, went to a man laying on a pallet, and healed him, for He knew that he had been that way, and walked away from that group laying there. How did He say... What did He say when they questioned Him of it? What did He say? "Verily, verily I say unto you, the Son can do nothing in Himself but what He sees the Father doing." That right? It was by a vision. 58-0315 FAITH

Now, remember, He said, "A little while and the world will see Me no more." Is that what He said? What is the world? The world order; "They will see Me no more, yet ye shall see Me." That's the elected, the church. "For I (personal pronoun), I will be with you, even in you to the end of the world." Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever. "The works that I do, shall you do also." Do you believe that? "The works, the things that I do, so will you do also. I am the Vine; ye are the branches." The vine cannot bear fruit; it's only got the life to give to

the branch, and the branch bears fruit. The Church of Christ is the--is the branch. Now, if you go to the branch and don't find the fruit of the Vine, then there's something wrong. Oh, how thankful, I am to know that great faith in God is still accompanied by an experience. And tonight, you may not have had that experience. But if God will come tonight in the power of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, Who said in St. John 5:19, "I do nothing till the Father shows Me first." If He will come and will do the same thing in this audience to prove... He said, "I... A little while and the world won't see Me no more. Yet ye shall see Me, for I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world. I'll be the Vine; you be the branches." The vine doesn't bear fruit; the branch bears fruit. Jesus said, "A little while and the world sees Me no more, yet ye shall see Me, for I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world." Anyone who reads the Scriptures knows that's

true. Then Jesus promise by His own Word, that there would be people that would see Him until He came again at the end of the world. "A little while, and the world will see Me no more; yet ye shall see Me for I (a personal pronoun) will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world." Did I read that Scripture right? Or was He just teasing the disciples? If He was teasing, and joshing, and carrying on, then He wasn't the Son of God. No matter what they think about Mohammed coming on his white horse... I've been in his grave and seen the white horse and where Buddha was and died about twenty-three hundred years ago and all the--them things. That's just philosophy, like Confucius and many of the other great philosophers. But there was only one Man ever lived on earth, said, "I have power to lay My Life down and take it up again. Lo, a little while and the world won't see Me no more, yet ye shall see Me; for I will be with you, even in you to the end of the world. The works that I do shall you also," promising these things... And here we are at the end. Do you believe that we're at the end of the age? The handwriting's on the wall? Then it's time for Christ to reveal

Himself to His Church. That's what He does, just as... If He did any other thing, besides He did at the first time, He'd be doing wrong. 58-0520 THE.SIGN.OF.THE.TIME_

Now, watch what He said. "A little while and the world won't see Me no more." Did He say that? "Yet, ye shall see Me." Now, the world is the unbeliever. We always know it, it's "kosmos" in the Greek which means "the world order." All right. "The world will see Me no more, yet ye shall see Me ("Ye," the church), for I ("I" is a personal pronoun), I will be with you, even in you to the end of the world." Does the Scripture say that? We've changed that. We've made it to joining church, teaching theology, having schools; nothing against that, but you see, it's not what He said. "The works that I do, shall you do also. More than this shall you do, for I go to My Father. A little while and the world won't see Me no more, yet you'll see Me. For I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world, Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today, and forever." Here friends is this picture, I guess you was showing awhile, this picture here. They got

that in Germany and all around the world. Since a little child, I saw that. Now, to me if you'll pardon it, I... It's not my picture; I had nothing to do with this part. It's the Angel of the Lord. Now, how many Bible teachers knows in here, that the Angel of that Lord, that led the children of Israel through the wilderness, was Christ? Is that right? When He was on earth, He said, they was questioning, St. John 6, He said, "Why, You--we know that You're have a devil now, if You say You're before Abraham, before Moses, and before this, that." He said, "Before Abraham was, I AM." Is that right? Who was the I AM? The Angel that talked to Moses in the Pillar of Fire, in the burning bush. He led the children of Israel through the wilderness. Then He was made flesh and dwelled among us, God made flesh. The Bible said He was. God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself. He was the Tabernacle which God lived in, borned a virgin birth, and was in this Tabernacle of His Son, manifesting, showing, expressing Himself to the world, Him being the Son of God, that He might bring other adopted sons into the Kingdom. 58-0523 WE.WOULD.SEE.JESUS

Only one way, He said, "I am the Vine. A little while..." I'll quote this verse, "A little while and the world won't see Me no more. (Now, the Greek work there is 'kosmos,' which means 'the world order.') They will see Me no more, yet ye

shall see Me, (the Church), for I ('I' is a personal pronoun.), I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world." Is that what He said, "And the works that I do, shall you do also. He that believeth on Me (not imagine he believes, but he that believeth), the works that I do, shall he also," St. John 14:8. 58-0523 WE.WOULD.SEE.JESUS

The Bible said the Gospel come to us (Paul said) not in word only, but through power, demonstration, manifestations of the Holy Ghost. "Go manifest the Holy Ghost to all the world." When He was here on earth, He said, "A little while and the world won't see Me no more. Yet ye shall see Me, for I will be with you, even in you to the end of the world." Now, is that right or wrong? He said, "I am the Vine, ye are the branches." Now, the vine does not bear fruit; the branch bears fruit. How many knows that, raise your hand? Sure you do. Where does it gets its life? Here it is: And when you come to the church, you ought to find Christ. But what do you do on His Vine? You find denomination, fussing, fighting, arguing, everything else but the fruit of Christ. Jesus said, "The works that I do shall

And tonight, I'd say the same thing: that the God Who stood yonder, in the 1st chapter of the books of Acts, and as He was taken up, and the skies become under His feet, that same Jesus said, "Lo, I am with you always. And when Jesus, in leaving the world, after a ministry of that around the world, around the known world of that day, He said, "The works that I do shall you do also." Listen to His going away: "Lo, a little while and the world (the visible, intellectual, cultured, scientific), the world will see Me no more." That's exactly a prophecy. It can't help but be the truth. Jesus Christ said it. "The intellectual believer, the world won't see Me no more, yet ye shall see Me, for I will be with you even in you to the end of the age. And the works that I have

He got closer to man, because He become the Son of man. God was in Him. And when He did that then, He said, "A little while and the world won't see Me no more. Yet, ye shall see Me for I (a personal pronoun), I will be with you, even in you to the end of the world." 58-1005M HEAR.HIS.VOICE

Now, my contentions is this: that Jesus Christ remains the same yesterday, today, and forever. Now, if He is the same, He's got to be the same in every principle, the same in--in power, the same in might, the same in everything that He was. And when on earth here there was some Greeks one time who came and said, "Sirs, we would see Jesus." And I believe that that is the desire of every man or woman that ever heard of Jesus, wants to see Him. And if He isn't the same, then we cannot see Him. But if He is the same, we can see Him, or He told something wrong. "Yet a little while and the world won't see Me no more. Yet ye shall see Me for I (the personal pronoun), I will be with you, even in you to the end of the age." And then Jesus promised to be in His church, doing the same things that He did then, until the age end.

In 1959, Branham associated Billy Graham and Oral Roberts with those that were included in “the world” portion of his modified scripture. Those that followed William Branham were considered to be in the “ye” portion of the scripture.

Solomon just had a gift. Jesus was the Giver of the gift. And the same Jesus, when He was on earth, said, "The works that I do shall you do also. A little while and the world sees Me no more, yet ye shall see Me. I will be with you, even in you to the end of the world (Not the age of the apostles, but the end of the world.). The world won't see Me no more, but ye shall see Me." How long? To the end of the world: Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever. And after two thousand years of Bible teaching, and scholars, and schools a teaching it, how are we going to escape the wrath of the damnation of the wrath of God when this generation is called into view. This nation is ripe for judgment. We'll never escape it. Remember, I speak in the Name of the Lord. We are doomed. She's past repenting. She's gone. The only thing that the Holy Spirit's trying to do, is call out those children, "Come out from among them." We've had Billy Grahams, and Oral Robertses, and great men who's crossed this nation and done everything in the Book nearly, and the people still set paralyzed.

He said in the Scriptures here, He will not leave us nor forsake us. "Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the world." The Scripture said that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. The same Jesus that climbed up on the mountain to watch that ship full of people, has climbed the ramparts of

glory to watch this congregation tonight, and your action towards His Spirit and His Word. Before He left, He said, "A little while and the world won't see Me no more. Yet, ye shall see Me (the believer), for I will be with you, even in you to the end of the age." Christ, the same yesterday, today, and forever. The same Christ Who cares, the same Christ Who watches over you, the same Christ Who performs the same miracles bringing the same results, did not He say in Saint John 14:12, "He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also." Also, in a sermon that was plagiarized from Rev. C. H. Franklin, he introduced the “Pillar of Fire” into the scriptures. Franklin, knowing that the Pillar of Fire was not in the scriptures telling the story of Saul’s interaction with God, would have been very upset had he known that his copied sermon had been modified with extra-biblical teachings.

Now, then after He rise--rose again, ascended into heaven to the Father, return back upon the earth, with His disciples forty days and nights, was taken up again. He met Paul some months after that on the road to Damascus, and he was stricken down. And when Paul looked up, what was there? A Pillar of Fire. Is

that right? And a Voice came from It, said, "Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou Me." He said, "Lord, Who are You that I'm persecuting?" He said, "I'm Jesus." The same God that was in the wilderness with the children of Israel, that dwelt in a body that He created Himself, and tabernacled in flesh, and through that sanctified body, given that Blood, which was not brought here by sexual desire, given that Life, that Blood shed on Calvary sanctifies our life that the same Holy Spirit would live in the Church to continue the work of Christ: Perfect. 59-0815 AS.THE.EAGLE STIRRETH.UP.HER.NEST

Well, when George J. Lacy examined that picture there, when that Angel of the Lord... Many of you standing here has seen it on the river, and many times. He said, "Brother Branham, the mechanical eye of this camera don't take psychology." Said, "The Light was there." There it is. It's everlasting. It's true. So you see, It's the same Angel of God. Now, watch It. The nature of It proves it. When He was here on earth, It was dwelt in a--the Lord Jesus Christ, Who was God made manifest. And now, Jesus said, "A little while and the world won't see Me no more. Yet you'll see Me, for I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world. And the things that you do... that I do shall you also."

Now, watch it when it comes... A man can say anything. But when God backs it up, that makes it truth. Now, watch the nature of that Angel. When He gets a person so submitted to Him, He does the same thing that Jesus did when He was here on earth, because we are sons and daughters of God, if we're borned of His Spirit. See? And it ain't no mythical thing. It's got evidence to prove it. It shows that it's right. So our salvation is absolutely perfect. 59-1115 MY.NEW.MINISTRY

"Yet a little while and the world (Listen to this.)--and the world sees Me no more; yet ye shall see Me." Now, watch. World, "kosmos," means "the world order." "The world will see Me no more." Now, if you're of the world, loving the things of the world better than you love the Word of God and Christ, then you'll never see Him no more. Is that right? Yet you may be religious, might belong to a church. "The world will see Me no more; yet ye shall see Me (That's the church.), "for I ('I' is a personal pronoun, that right?), I will be with you even in you, to the end of the consummation," the end of the world. The world's never come to an end yet, so Jesus is in His people. Jesus Christ, God's Son, by the Holy Spirit, is in the people working out. That's the Life, the Life that was in Jesus is in the church. 59-1125 FROM.THE.BEGINNING IT.WASN'T.SO

You see, we believe we're living in the last days. We believe that Jesus Christ promised, when He was on earth, "He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also." He said, "A little while and the world won't see Me no more; yet you'll see Me, for I will be with you even in you, to the end of the world." Now, if we can find out what Jesus was a long time ago, the works that He did, then we can find out the works that He'd do now. Is that right, newcomers? Now, let's just take just a moment and find out the works that He did. Let's just think. Did He call Hisself a Healer? No. Did He claim to heal? No. He said, "It's not Me that doeth the works, it's My Father that dwelleth in Me." Is that right? 59-1126 JEHOVAH.OF.MIRACLES

Now, also let us turn to John 14 just for a minute. I just love the Word; It's the Truth. Now, the Spirit of God, the Holy Ghost... What is the Holy Ghost? It is the Spirit of Christ in you. Now, before we read, I'd just like to say a few commenting words here. What is the Holy Ghost? It's a Seal. What is the Holy Ghost? It's a Covenant. What is the Holy Ghost? It's a Sign. What is the Holy Ghost then? It's a--the Spirit of Jesus Christ in you. See? "A little while," said Jesus, "and the world sees Me no more, yet ye

shall see Me; for I will be with you, even in you to the end of the world." 59-1216 WHAT.IS.THE.HOLY.GHOST

In 1960, Branham started taking the single word ‘consummation’ that he had introduced into his subtly altered scripture previously, and turning that into a doctrine in of itself – further changing the meaning of the scriptures.

He would even replace the word ‘world’ with ‘consummation’, saying, “For I will be with you, even in you to the end of the consummation."

The literal translation of the scripture would sound something like this: And behold I with you am all the days until the completion of the age. The word “consummation” is nowhere to be found in the original Greek text, and we know that Branham read from Lamsa’s bible which was not made from the Greek.

The word “age” was translated from the word “aionos”, which literally meant “this world” as opposed to the “world to come.”

He also began to associate the “Elijah” that he claimed to be with the slightly modified scripture.

Said, "In a little while and the world won't see Me no more, yet you'll see Me; for I... (Not a thought now, the Holy Spirit is a Person.), I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world. And the works that I do (Saint John Copyright 2012, www.seekyethetruth.com 112

14:12), shall you do also." Think of it. the Jews, the Samaritans... And she run into the city, after the disciples come up, and went and told the men of the city. She said, "Come, see a Man that's told me the things that I've done. Isn't this the very Messiah?" Oh, my, oh, I feel religious right now. Why can't the world see that today? Because they're blinded. The devil never takes his spirit off the earth; he takes his person, his man. God never takes His Spirit; He takes His man. God took Elijah, and the Spirit of Elijah come upon Elisha. Then follow, it come down eight hundred years later on John the Baptist; predicted again in the last days. God took His Son, Jesus, but the Spirit come back. We got the critics; we got the Pharisees; we got the believers. It's up to you to make the decision. "We would see Jesus." 60-0109 SIRS.WE.WOULD.SEE.JESUS

Then after He was baptized in water, John saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and going on Him, a Voice saying, "This is My beloved Son (correctly like this) in Whom I am pleased to dwell in." God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself. Jesus said, "It's not Me that doeth these things; it's My Father. I--the Son can do nothing in Himself but what He sees the Father doing."

And then God was with us, God above us, God with us in Christ, Emmanuel, God with us. And then when that blood cell was broke at Calvary and the Blood was shed, the Spirit... Under the old dispensation, sin was just covered, not forgiven, covered, because the blood of goats and bulls would not take away sin; it only covered it. But when the--the--the life that was in the animal that died, the life could not come back and be a spirit with the human being, because it was animal life without a soul. But when Jesus died, it was a soul of God. And when that cell was broke, it sanctified a Church that the Holy Spirit could live in us who were sexual born. Then it's God above us, God with us; now it's God in us. "A little while and the world won't see Me no more," said Jesus. That's Kosmos, the world order. "It won't see me no more. Yet ye shall see Me ('Ye,' the Church, the believers), for I (And anyone with a grammar school education knows 'I' is a personal pronoun.), I will be with you, even in you to the end of the world, Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever." 60-0110 THE.QUEEN.OF.SHEBA

No man will understand God except Christ--you accept Christ. You can't understand Divine healing. Why, somebody say, "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever." Little pastor here might preach it.

Some of you might scratch your head, and say, "Ah, I don't believe that." See? You're in no condition to believe it. Just accept it by faith, and then you'll see it. Jesus said, "A little while and the world sees Me no more (That's the world order.)--will see Me no more, yet ye shall see Me ('ye' the believer), for I will be with you, even in you to the end of the world. The works that I do shall you do also; even more than this shall you do, for I go to My Father. I'll go away, and then I'll come again and be with you." 60-0604 TO.WHOM.SHALL.WE.GO

He plants another subtle seed for future growth. If he has quoted the scriptures wrong, then we might as well change to another false religion.

A little while and the world (that's just the church, the outsiders), they won't see Me no more. Yet you shall see Me, for I (And anybody that ever went to grammar school knows that 'I' is a personal pronoun. See?), I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world. And the works that I do shall you do also." What works did He do? As the Father showed Him. That's the reason I said on my last statement, "Wait!" I've not preached to you in vain. Because Divine healing is not a major; Divine healing is a minor. But eighty- six percent of the ministry of our Lord Jesus was Divine healing. That was to prove to the people Who He was. Now, how many will admit, that what I preached tonight is the Scripture? That's the way He made Hisself known? And how many knows that He promised that in this last day that He would do, He'd come again and do the same thing in the last days, that He said, "The works that I do, shall you also"? And how many believes in foreknowledge of God, that He foreknowledge and election is by foreknowledge? And then God in the ages, He had a Martin Luther; He had a John Wesley; He's had men through the age. In the last day He's got to raise something, a church, that His ministry will be... Martin Luther, justification was by faith. John Wesley had sanctification, the second work of grace. Pentecost has had the restoration of the gifts. Now, the next thing is the coming of the Lord. So this gift message of speaking with tongues, interpretation of tongues, and different things that we've had, now, it's moving right on in, to now it's up in the hour of the church in the minority, 'cause they're coming down from Wesley, Luther, and on down. Now they're

right up to the capstone. Now, believe with all your heart. Now, how many knows that Jesus said this: "That he that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall He, also."? That's right. He said this: "A little while and the world (That's a world order.) will see Me no more (That's the unbeliever.), he will see Me no more. Jesus said, "The works that I do shall you do also. Greater than this shall you do, 'cause I go to My Father." He promised the power. He said, "A little while and the world won't see Me no more (it'll be dark), but ye shall see Me, for I will be with you, even in you to the end of the world." Then God's light will be reflected in His church, and more powerful then ever, just before the coming of the Lord Jesus. "Watchman, what of the night?"

We're all condemned by His law. We'd all die under His justice. I'm so glad that God said, "They're done gone. This is My beloved Son, hear ye Him. He has mercy, love, grace, healing, glory, and power, and the Holy Ghost for us.

Hear ye Him; this is My beloved Son. He was wounded for your transgressions, bruised for your iniquity, the chastisement of your peace was upon Him, and with His stripes you were healed. Hear ye Him. Come unto Me all ye that labor, and heavy laden, I will give you rest. He that believeth in Me, the works that I do, shall he do also. Greater than this shall he do, for I go unto My Father. If ye abide in Me, and My Word in you, ask what you will; it will be given to you." Oh, my. "A little while, and the world will seeth Me no more, yet ye will see Me, for I will be with you, even in you to the end of the world, to the end of the consummation. (Hallelujah.) Now, I'm claiming that Jesus Christ has not changed. His death did not change Him. It glorified Him. And He raised up on the third day and ascended on high. A little while, and the world won't see Me no more (That's the world order, you know, just the unbelieving church and all.), they won't see Me no more. So if the stump was holy, and we be grafted vine, we'd better watch how we walk. Let us be not children of the night; let's walk in day. And if the Holy Spirit will come tonight, raised up Jesus from the dead, He promised. "I'll be with you, even in you to the end of the world. And the things that I do, shall you do also." Isn't that a promise? It's a promise, but will it work? That's it. If that works, then it all works. If He can prove He's alive, and He can prove He's alive, if you'll let Him prove it in you, and I let Him prove it in me, that to you, and you to me, that He's alive, then He's walking among His people tonight in the midst the water like He did then. Now, the Holy Spirit promised to come in the last days and show to the Gentile race that He was Messiah. That it would be God was above us in the Fatherhood, God with us in the Sonship, now God the Holy Ghost in us. You know that. consummation." It be there all, how long? To the end, the world ends He will still be there in you. God in you. Now, if the Holy Spirit... If this is the Holy Spirit, and this Angel of God that they--science took the picture of, hangs in Washington, DC, copyrighted, the only supernatural Being that's ever photographed. Most Glorious Father, we are so glad tonight to know that we have in our beings immortal Life. The Life of our God separated by tongues of fire and set upon each of them, and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost and begin to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance. O Father, how we thank Thee that Thou did divide Thyself amongst the Church. No wonder our Lord said, "That day you'll know that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me, I in you, and you in Me." But, the messengers are in His right hand, waiting. Wherever He sends them, they'll speak the same thing. For the Holy Spirit that was in Christ... Oh! The Spirit that was in Christ! When He left, He said, "A little while and the world... " (kosmos, the greek word which means 'world order'; not the earth, the world, the order of the world) "... will see Me no more... " (denominations, or whatever more) "... will see Me no more. Yet ye shall see Me... " (the Church, the believer) "... for I... " ("I," personal pronoun is right) "... And--and--and when He left now, He didn't leave us, you say, "Well, now I'll tell you what, you all go into all the world and organize great organizations. And, oh, you're going to have several hundred of them, but they'll be all right." Now, that would be uncertain. That's what man done. But here's what He said before He left to be sure that we wouldn't be deceived. He said,

"A little while and the world won't see Me no more. (That's the unbelievers, them people that's all stopped up with unbelief.) They won't see Me no more. Yet ye shall see Me, for I, I, I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world." 60-1218 THE.UNCERTAIN.SOUND

Now, when He was on earth, He was the Pillar of Fire, led the children of Israel. Is that right? Then He was made flesh in the Son of God, in order to taste death for the whole human race, make an atonement. You believe that? Now, what is He today? The same Jesus. The same (what?) yesterday in the Fatherhood, same in the Sonship, same here in the form of the Holy Spirit, same Light. Paul on his road to Damascus was struck down by a Light, and said, "Who are You, Lord?" Said, "I'm Jesus." Um-huh. That's right. What is it? Three times He took off His mask. Took off His mask from a Pillar of Fire and become what? A Man to take away sin. Then took off His mask as a Man, and went back again to be a Spirit called the Holy Ghost; the Ghost of a Man to come back and be on you, and in you, and the very same works... Mm. Do you see it, church? There's nothing uncertain about that. "The works that I do, shall you also. For I will be with you, even in you, until the end of the consummation, the end of the world, the end of the time, the end of all

1961

1961 was more of the same, with the emphasis on the Masonic doctrines. He continued changing the word ‘world’ to ‘consummation’, but included more references to the ‘World Order’ and the ‘Light.’

He also continued the doctrine that Paul saw the ‘Pillar of Fire’ in the wilderness, while the Bible makes no mention of the Pillar of Fire from the Old Testament.

Now, if Jesus Christ is... And God forgive me for saying, "if." I don't mean to be sacrilegious, but to make a point. If Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and we have the same desire, then why can't we see Him, if He's still the same? Now, He has to be the same if the Bible says He's the same. He's the same Saviour, the same Healer, and just the same as He was. The only thing different in Him, He's now in an invisible body; there's where He was in a visible body. Now, if Jesus will come into this audience tonight visible... Now, He could not come in a corporal body, because that sets on the throne of God. But He can come in here by the Holy Spirit, and show you Himself being here, working in His church. Do you believe that? He has to be the... everything in the same principle. He has to have the same love, the same compassion, same works, same manifestation, if He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Now, remember, Jesus, when the works was being done, Jesus did not heal anyone. He said, "I cannot heal no one." He said, "It's not Me that doeth the works; it's My Father, and He dwelleth in Me." That right? "He dwelleth in Me. And a little while..." when He went away, He said, "and the world will see Me no more, yet ye shall see Me, for I ('I' is a personal pronoun), I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the consummation," till the world comes to the end. "I... And the works that I do shall you do also. If ye abide in Me and My works in you, ask what you will and it shall be given." Now, if we can see Him come on the scene... No matter how much He would anoint me, He's got to anoint you too. When He come to His own city, many mighty works He could not do because of their unbelief. So He has to anoint

you, and He has to anoint me. And that makes the world see that Jesus Christ is the same, because He's working in His church in human flesh that He has sanctified with His own Blood, for the purpose of manifesting Himself, making Himself the same yesterday, today, and forever. "A little while and the world won't see Me no more." Now, the world there's spelled--is a Greek word "kosmos," which means "the world order," See? There was God Almighty made flesh in a commemoration that... Jesus said, "A little while and the world seeth Me no more; yet ye

shall see Me, for I will be with you, even in you, in you, to the end of the consummation," all the way down to the end of the world, Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever. He's here. It's Christ working in you and me and the rest of us, trying to bring His Word together to confirm and to fulfill His Word. Why did Jesus heal the sick for in Matthew 12, Matthew 8, I believe it is? He said, "That it might be fulfilled which is spoken of by the prophet." The Word of God needs to be fulfilled. This is the hour. Telepathy, they call it. They called it the same thing there, a devil. He said, "It's unforgivable to call the Spirit of God that's working a thing like that." I want you to think about that 'fore you go to making your decisions. There's a new ministry that God has confirmed, and we know it to be the God's truth. But somehow or another it just won't work here in--in America. It does at other places. Now, greater than what we have here. But you see, we just--we just sinned away our day of grace; that's all there is to it. I predicted that in 1956, and it's been that way ever since, constantly falling. See? But God will pull out that elect church. He's--He's duty bound to do it; He said He would do it. 61-0211 ABRAHAM

Now, Jesus before going away (I'm quoting these Scriptures before I strike my message),

Jesus before leaving the earth, He said, "A little while, and the world will see Me no more." Now, the world there is the word "Kosmos," which means "the world order." See? "The world will see Me no more, yet, ye shall see Me (that's the church), for I will be with you, even in you, unto the end of the world." Now, we all know the Scripture says that. Now, then that makes Jesus the same yesterday, today, and forever. Now, watch. "The works that I do shall you do also; and more..." I know the King James says "greater," but if you get the "Emphatic Diaglott"... No one could do any greater. He raised the dead, stopped nature. More, because then God was in one Man, Christ Jesus. The Fullness of the Godhead bodily dwelt in Him, the Scripture says: I Timothy 3:16: "Without controversy great is the mystery of godliness, for God was manifested in the flesh." He was called Emmanuel. He was only in one man. But He... When He... This one Man, being the Son of God, gave His Life to sanctify His Church, that He might return in the form of the Holy Ghost and be in His Church universally. "The works that I do shall you also (same kind); more than this shall you do, for I go to My Father," so that He could return back in the form of the Holy Ghost and be in His Church universal. 61-0213 IT.IS.I.BE.NOT.AFRAID

And He said, "Verily, I say unto you, a little while, and the world (kosmos, which means the world order) will see Me no more; yet ye shall see Me, for I ('I' is a personal pronoun there.), I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the consummation," all the way down. "Go ye into all the world." Not just to this generation, all the world. You that say that the--want to say that the signs of the apostles, was the only ones that had the Holy Spirit, only ones that could do miracles, how can you read the history of the church and say such a thing as that? What about Polycarp? What about Irenaeus? What about Saint Martin? What are you going to do with those men? Columba? Columbia? All of those, what are you going to do with them? Hundreds of years later they still heal the sick, raise the dead, spoke in tongues, cast out devils; how you going to hide it? As long as that Son, S-o-n, of God's Holy Spirit shines on the church, signs and wonders will appear. Can't hide it. It's there. Read this with me, Mark 16. "Go ye into all the world." It's never reached all the world yet. "Preach the Gospel," demonstrate the power. How much? "To every creature." See? "These signs shall follow them that believe." How far? All the world. Every creature. You just can't hide it. He never did say, "Go, teach the Word"; "Go, preach the Gospel." Demonstrate the power of the Holy Ghost. 61-0219 THE.QUEEN.OF.SHEBA

That's certain. "I will be with you, even in you." You can call fanaticism if you want to, but it's a sure sound to me that I'm saved. Amen. "I will be with you, even in you to

He said, "I am Jesus." He had come from the Pillar of Fire, made flesh, dwelt among us, returned back to the Pillar of Fire, a Light. Same One came into the prison, and let Peter out, went before him, opened the doors, and taken him out. Now, if that is the same Light, the same Spirit, It'll perform in the church the same thing that It did when It was in Him. For He said, "A little while and the world seeth Me no more, yet ye shall see Me, for I will be with you, even in you to the end of the world. Now, and the works that I do shall you do also. More than this shall you do, for I go unto My Father." In other words, the body of flesh, the Son, could not come into each one, but the Spirit of God that was in Him can come back, because it's God condescending from a Pillar of Fire. Anyone touched the mountain must be killed, thrust through with a sword. Then, become a man, lived among us, touched Him, believed Him... He was crucified for our sins and raised for our justification, then through His righteous Blood we are cleansed, that God could come into us and fellowship. God making His Own way back to fellowship with Adam's children as He did with Adam before the fall.

Now, if He--if He come here, then what would He do? He could show Himself alive. And how would we know that He was? Because His Spirit would come in us and act just the same way it did when He was here in His body. Is that right? "I (personal pronoun) will be with you, even in you. I believe we can, because He promised, "A little while and the world will see Me no more..." Now, "the world" there, as the brethren, the scholars, know, that--that "the world" there, is from the Greek word of "kosmos" which means "the world order." 1962

In 1962, the final wedge was driven into the Trinity. God the Father was blended into the Holy Ghost. Jesus had already been transformed into the Holy Ghost by Branham, which finally turned God Himself as a whole into the Spirit.

In the same manner that Rev. Jim Jones asked his following to free their minds from this world and make themselves ‘dead’ to the world, Branham claimed that his following must also become dead to the world around them – ignoring all reason and understanding of the scriptures by those who have studied and knew their Bibles.

In 1962, Branham preached the “Stature of a Perfect Man,” which led to churches around the world placing Masonic images in their homes and places of worship.

This image, the pyramid with the capstone, comes directly from the Masonic order. Some have claimed that the Masonic pyramid itself is satanic.

Whether he knew it or not, Branham’s teachings became closer to high-level Masons.

Now the Word is made Spirit, dwelling in us, "For I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world, the consummation." Now, that same God that wrote the Bible is in you. You're not your own. You're dead to the things of the world. You're dead to your own thoughts. "And the mind... Let the mind that was in Christ be in you." There, then you're forsaking all, to follow Him. Not your own thoughts; what He says. "Not My will; Thine,

Jesus said, "A little while and the world won't see Me no more; yet ye shall see Me for I will be with you, even in you." John 14:12, He said the... "He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also. More than this shall he do 'cause I go to My Father." That's the reason He said in Mark 16, "These signs shall follow them that believe." It was a living God in a man that could lay hisself out before God, according to the Word of God; and the Word of God would be made manifest in Him. Amen. It's--it's a paradox. 62-0128A A.PARADOX

Now, the only way It can be proven that It's the same Pillar of Fire, It'll do the same works if It is the same Pillar of Fire, the Spirit of God. Jesus said, "A little while and the world seeth Me no more. Yet ye shall see Me, for I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world." Hebrews 13:8 said, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever." Then if this Spirit doesn't produce the Life of Christ, then it isn't the Spirit of God. 62-0129 EXPLAINING.THE.MINISTRY

Now, we got resurrection by history. But then we got resurrection by sign, that Jesus Christ

lives tonight in His church. He's not dead; He's alive. Saint John 14:12, Jesus said, "He that believeth on Me..." Not, "professes to believe," but He said, "He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also. More than this shall he do, for I go to the Father." Now, I know King James says here, "greater." They couldn't do no greater. He raised the dead; He healed the sick; He stopped nature; He done everything. But the right translation in the original Hebrew, yet it says, "more than this." That is, Christ was in one Man there, and Christ is in His church universal now. "More of the same works will you do, for I go to My Father." "A little while and the world (kosmos, world order) sees Me no more. Yet ye shall see Me, for I (And 'I' is a personal pronoun as I have said.) I will be with you, even in you (How long?) to the end of the world." What was it? That Word that he'd walked with was in him, burning him up with fire in his flesh and soul. He had the whole armor of God on. That's God's provided armor. He had the baptism, filled with the Holy Ghost. What is it? God makes Himself ever present in His own army. God, on the day of Pentecost, sent down

the full armor of God for His army. That was Himself among you. "Yet a little while, and the world seeth Me no more. Yet ye shall see Me because I will be with you, even in you, until the end of the world." Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and forever," Matthew 28. All right. That He has... He is with us, in us. That's the armor. It's Him. He is the Word, and He is the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit is in us, which is the Word making the promise manifest. This is the promise. Now, therefore, I believe that God of the Old Testament, all that He was, He poured into Jesus His Son. Just as Balaam thought ‘seven’ was the key to unlocking God in the worship of the Children of Israel, Branham would teach the emphasis in the number seven.

1963

1963 was the final stage of Branham’s plan to take control of the spirit world. Through this subtle change in the scriptures, adding the words ‘even in you,’ Branham would claim that the Spirit of God was in his own power.

Through this power, Branham would claim that he was able to take the spirits in the room under his own control, which is necromancy – and condemned by the Bible. The children of Israel slaughtered one who practiced necromancy and led the children of Israel into idolatry. That person’s name was Balaam.

In the midst of this necromancy, another scripture was altered in Branham’s ministry. Matthew 16:4

An evil and adulterous generation seeks for a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah.” So he left them and departed.

Rather than hold fast to this scripture condemning an evil and adulterous generation seeking for a sign, Branham started to claim that God would give an evil and adulterous generation a sign.

And now He is in us. "Yet a little while, and the world seeth Me no more, yet I will be with

But Christianity, after a world-wide experience, Christianity is the only true religion. It's the only one that can show an empty grave. It's the only one that their founder, any man, and no man like Him, ever stood on earth and said, "I have power to lay my life down and take it up again. "Yet a little while and the world sees Me no more. Yet ye shall see Me, for I will be with you, even in you." It's the Holy Spirit that speaks through tongues and gives interpretation, the same One that saves you from sin. Because, the things that Jesus Christ is doing today, in the church, there is not a person in the world can do it outside of Jesus Christ. And it's a sign that He is alive tonight. Now accept God's provided way at the end time. If you're sick tonight, God has a provided way. Jesus Christ is the provided way. If you're sinful, tonight, unbelieving, can't live right, can't seem to get settled down; Jesus Christ is God's provided way. Just believe Him. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Then He and the Holy Spirit, which He is, Holy Spirit is Jesus, and Christ in form of the Spirit. "A little while and the world seeth Me no more, yet ye

shall see Me, because I will be with you, even in you." The Holy Spirit, Christ, calling It, "I." See? Christ, God the Holy Spirit in Him, was to be in His Church, "unto the end of the world." The things that I live, that the Father lives in Me, as Me being the Son of God; as I adopt you, My Spirit will be in you and do the same things." Certainly. That's only natural. Again, He said, "Lo, I'm with you always, even till the end of the world." Matthew 28, 28:22, or 28:20, it is. "Lo, I with you always, even to the end of the earth. I am with you. A little while," He said again, "and the world seeth Me no more, yet ye shall see Me. For I..." I is another personal pronoun. See? "I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world. are. That's exactly how you would know it. Oh, again, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." You say, "How can that be? How can it be proven?" John 14:12, see, "The works that I do shall you do also." He is now waiting to be called on the scene. He's waiting at this hour right now, to prove exactly what I said about Him, to be so right now. Notice, the same Holy Spirit that lived in Him, "Yet a little while, and the world will see me no more; yet ye shall see Me, because I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world. I will come to you," He said. "I," was the Father that was in Him, "that will come to you." Now God in this last days promised that He would show, the wicked and adulterous generation, the sign of His resurrection, that He is not dead. He is alive. He keeps every Word, He lives it right through you. "A little

while and the world will see Me no more," said Jesus, "yet ye shall see Me," see, talking to the believer, "for I," I is a personal pronoun, "I will be with you, even in you, unto the end of the world, the consummation." And the works, Saint John 14:12, "He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also." Same works! Now have faith, and believe. Say, "Lord, that man doesn't know me. And yet You said, 'a little while, the world,' Babylon, or Sodom, won't see You. 'But ye shall see Me. You shall see Me, for I will be with you, all the way to the end of the world.'" It hasn't come to an end yet. "You will see Me. Ye shall see Me, for I'll be with you, even in you." You'll see His Life reproduced in the believers. Now, in the Name of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, I take every spirit in here under my control, for the glory of God, that the works of God might be made known again, if He so sees fit to do it. No more than I had said that word, I looked here in the corner, and here... Can't you see that Light hanging right there, amber, moving around? How many in here doesn't have the baptism of the Holy Ghost, raise up your hands, you know that--that you don't have It? My! That's the way you go in. The Holy Ghost is Christ. That's how you are sealed into the Kingdom, Ephesians 4:30, "Grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby you are sealed unto the day of your redemption." And if you--and if you have thoughts of this Bible, that It isn't true, then the spirit in you is not Christ, 'cause Christ is the Word. 202 There is the Kingdom that cannot be moved, that's the Word. That's the Kingdom that cannot be moved. "Heavens and earth will pass away, but My Word will not." If the Word is in you! "If ye abide in Me, and My Word in you; ask what you will, it'll be done for you. Works that I do," Saint John 12, 14, "the works that I do, shall you do also; even more than this, because I go to the Father. Yet a little while, and the world seeth Me no more; yet ye shall see Me, for I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world." Watch what His works was, see if it's returned to us in the last days. Have they rejected It? Worldwide! And beware lest you raise your eyes to heaven, and when you see the sun and the moon and the stars, all the host of heaven, you be drawn away and bow down to them and serve them, things that the LORD your God has allotted to all the peoples under the whole heaven. Deuteronomy 4:19

In 1964, the same worship of Balaam became integrated into the doctrine. Branham’s claim that the ‘Zodiac’ was the ‘first Bible’ became included in his subtle change to the scriptures.

At the same time, this “Light” doctrine that had been carried through the ages by the Masons was the focal point of his teachings. He started believing his stories about the head of the FBI capturing a strange light above his head – whether he knew it was false or not.

Now, the other day, we've had in the event of the history of the church now... In the--the Bible, the moon represents the "church," and the sun represents "Christ." For we find that in Revelation, the 12th chapter, the woman which was the "church," she was found with the moon under her feet and the sun at her head, twelve stars in her crown. Which, the--the old Orthodox Jewish law was under her feet, she had crossed over that into the light of the sun. Twelve stars are the "twelve apostles" that brought the messages to us, now, under the Holy Spirit. Now we find that

the moon in the heavens is to reflect the light of the sun, in the absence of the sun. It gives us--it gives us light to get around. But it's still... No matter how much it reflects, it's still not the perfect light, because it is reflecting. And the sun shines against the moon, and the moon reflects its light in the absence of the sun. But when the sun comes up, then the moon is not needed no more.

And today the Church is reflecting the Light of the absent Son of God. The Church is a reflection of the Light. Because He said, "A little while and the world seeth Me no more. Yet ye shall see Me, for I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the age. The works that I do," Lights that He made manifest. And there's no Light except through the Word of God. Let's bow our heads. Now everybody keep your head bowed just a moment. God's peace! "Gross..." "As it was at Sodom," where God was manifested in a human Being that Abraham called Elohim, the all-sufficient One; stood

there, eat meat, drinking milk, and bread; and could tell what Sarah was thinking behind her, behind Him, in the tent. He said, "That will return again at the coming of the Son of man." Notice, today we have a similar trial, after the same identified Word. Hebrews 13:8, "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever." "Lo, a little while and the world seeth Me no more; yet ye shall see Me, for I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the age." Heavenly Father, we are riding into Glory upon Thy Word. We believe that Thy Word is Truth. O God, may every man and woman, tonight, climb aboard the Word, and remember, as they go along down through the journey, they can confess, "I'm riding on God's promise. It'll take me right into Glory. It's God's provided way for

Watch what He said. "A little while, and the world sees Me no more; yet ye shall see Me, for I will be with you, even in you. You will see Me; the believer." Same yesterday, today, and forever! Yes. Well, that same Messiah is promised to reveal Himself today. Same thing! Now, Hebrews 13:8, now listen, identifies Him to be "the same yesterday, today, and forever." John 14:8... Said that, "He that believeth in Me, see, the works that I do shall He do also." John 14, nine-... here we find, He said, "A little while, and the world order, kosmos, won't know Me anymore. They'll be totally blind. They won't see Me anymore. Then a little while and they won't see Me, yet your eyes will be opened, for you shall see Me; for I will be with you, even in you, to

the end of the world." "Same yesterday, today, and forever." 138 Luke 17:28 said. Jesus said that, "In the last days, the setting of the world would be just like it was when the Gentiles was destroyed at Sodom and Gomorrah." Not in Noah's time, as the flood (He give the immorals of that day), but He said, "As it was in the days of Sodom." Now that was a Gentile world that was destroyed with fire. God put a rainbow in the sky, no more "water," but it's fire this time. Now the Gentile world is ready for destruction. 64-0212 WHEN.THEIR.EYES.WERE OPENED.THEY.KNEW.HIM

But, now, these Greeks wanted to see Him, and we want to see Him. Well, now, if He is risen from the dead, and not... He is not dead. He is alive. And if He is alive, as the Scripture claims He is, then why can't we see Him? We have a right to ask to. Remember, He said, "A little while yet and the world seeth Me no more. Yet, ye shall see Me, for I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world. The world won't see Me, but ye shall see Me." I was discussing the--the trinity with a--a Baptist minister, the other night, and I told him it was only terminology. And so we come to

find out, he said, another little minister there from the seminary, he said, "Well, Mister Branham, you are trying to make people believe an apostolic religion." I said, "Certainly, the only one there is." And he said, "Sir, where did you go to school at?" I said, "On my knees, my brother. Not to... See, that's where I got, not theology, but kneeology." I said, "That's where I found Him."

And he said, "Mister Branham, the baptism of the Holy Ghost, like they got on the Day of Pentecost, you try to say that that's today?" I said, "The Bible said, sir, that the... that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever." I said, "That was Jesus Christ that come on the Day of Pentecost." Oh, yeah. No, same One! "Yet a little while, I'll pray the Father, He'll send you another comforter, which is the Holy Ghost. A little while and the world won't see Me no more, Me no more; yet ye shall see Me, for I will be with you, even in you, to the consummation, end of the world." I said, "Yeah, that's Him come on the Day of Pentecost. Yes, sir. 1965

Considering the discrepancy between the actual scriptures and Branham’s altered version of the scriptures, it is very interesting that his sermon is entitled “Seed of Discrepancy.”

In 1965, Branham started applying all of these modified scriptures to himself, pointing to himself as the “son of man” that would rise again before the “consummation.”

He needed only use the modified scripture three times. “Three”, which was Branham’s focal point in numerology for completion. It was complete. It was finished.

You said, "A little while, and the world won't see Me no more, yet you'll see Me, for I" (the personal pronoun of "I") "I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world." And at the end of the time, this great consummation, You said, just before it happens, it'll be just like before the fire fell in Sodom and burnt up the Gentile world, that there would come a revelation again of the Son of man just like it was at Sodom. Catholic church, after the apostles. Then we come down through the Roman Catholic, the Greek, and so forth, on down to Luther's age, and Wesley, whatmore, nine hundred different organizations coming down. They had all these ages, teaching. Now He promised, just before the end time would come, that the picture of Sodom and Gomorrah would again, "As it was in the days of Sodom, so shall it be in the coming of the end time, the Son of man will reveal Himself again." Now notice. The very essence of this resurrection is to tell and to show, and to prove that Jesus has raised up from the dead. He's not dead. He's a living. He lives here. He's in us. "I'll be with you, even in you. A little while and the world seeth Me no more. Yet, ye shall see Me,

for I will be with you, even in you, unto the end of the world."

Now, as Christians, we all claim He is alive, or we been quickened from--quickened from life... from death to Life, by His Spirit. And if we haven't been quickened, then we've not been made alive. 65-0410 THE.EASTER.SEAL
