The song reached number 62 on the Billboard Hotbecoming Simpson's third Hot chart entry. The single is most known for being the first single that Simpson professionally recorded Where You are Lachey. It was also included on the soundtrack Where You are the teen film Here on Earth Simpson developed and nurtured her talent in her local Baptist church, where her father worked as the congregation's youth minister. Where You are age twelve, she unsuccessfully auditioned for The Mickey Where You are Club. One of the camp's visitors was launching a Gospel music record label and saw great promise and profits in her Where You are. While attending J. Where You are recorded an album, Jessicabut Proclaim went bankrupt and the album was never released except for a small pressing funded by her grandmother. The lyrics of "Where You Are" is constructed in verse—chorus form and Where You are centered on the first love. Due to the song's dark nature, the film stock is graduated to align with pale Where You are that can be seen in the video. As the video is also from the Here on Earth soundtrack, the video features scenes from the film. The track failed to reach the top fifty of the Billboard Hotpeaking at sixty-two. However, the song did become a relative Adult Contemporary hit. Billboard Magazine explained this contradiction by pointing out that the physical single included a previously unreleased remix of "I Wanna Love You Forever", which may have benefited sales. I absolutely loved the honesty and the realistic writing style. I completely fell in love with Nate and Adam Are you reading her books? Why the hell not? She Where You are one of the best new authors out there. So obviously I was super excited for "Where Where You are Are". And this didn't disappoint one bit. It kinda blew me away to be completely honest and has now taken a permanent place Where You are my all time favorites-shelf. Andrew Where You are is a 24 year old math teacher. Robert Westfall is his 17 year old student. He is described as "good looking, quiet, confident and popular," he even has a fan club on facebook. He has a boyfriend, which honestly is a real moron, and he spends his freetime tutoring kids with special needs. His father is dying of brain cancer and his life is falling apart everywhere but in class. Andrew sees how his best student is struggeling and out of concern, he offers to be there for Where You are if he needs to talk. With time, they form a beautiful friendship. But that is all it is. Andrew is determined not Where You are cross the bond between the student and his teacher. But the attraction is there, Where You are it is strong. Somewhere along the way, Andrew realizes that he has fallen for his student, fallen hard and he is terrified. But it is only 4 months to graduation, and surely they can wait that long before they act on their feelings, right? Wrong, turns out that some things are just to strong to ignore Their emotions for eachother are real, it is not just sex. There is some steam in this, yes, but nothing is overly described. There is plenty of sexual tension, so I was satisfied.
