FIFTY-FIFTH DAY Hall of the House of Representatives, Columbus, Ohio Thursday, June 8, 2017, 9:00 o'clock a.m. The House met pursuant to adjournment. Pursuant to House Rule No. 23, the Clerk called the House to order. Representative Brenner was selected to preside under the Rule. The journal of yesterday was read and approved.

INTRODUCTION OF BILLS The following bills were introduced: H. B. No. 262 - Representatives Butler, Romanchuk. Cosponsors: Representatives Becker, Dean, Goodman, Henne, Hood, Johnson, Retherford, Riedel, Sprague, Stein, Thompson, Wiggam. To amend section 126.02 and to enact sections 101.61, 103.31, 103.32, 103.33, 103.34, 103.35, 103.36, 103.37, and 103.38 of the Revised Code to provide for the preparation of a state biennial budget independent of that submitted by the Governor and to authorize the Legislative Service Commission, upon the request of the Speaker of the House of Representatives or the President of the Senate, to arrange for an independent actuarial review of a proposed bill, specified analyses of economic policy initiatives and state benchmarking data, and a study of the state's long-range financial outlook. H. B. No. 263 - Representative Lanese. To enact section 3717.14 of the Revised Code to generally allow an owner, keeper, or harborer of a dog to take the dog in an outdoor dining area of a retail food establishment or food service operation. H. B. No. 264 - Representative Roegner. To amend section 4501.21 and to enact section 4503.905 of the Revised Code to create the "Hudson City Schools" license plate. H. B. No. 265 - Representative Roegner. To amend section 4501.21 and to enact section 4503.906 of the Revised Code to create the "Stow-Munroe Falls City Schools" license plate. H. B. No. 266 - Representative Roegner. To amend section 4501.21 and to enact section 4503.907 of the Revised Code to create the "Twinsburg City Schools" license plate.
