25 CAMPUS CULTURE (Important Regulations)

a) Students are asked to be present for the lectures and other curricular and co- curricular activities organised by College. 75% of attendance is mandatory to write the College/University Examinations. A student who is absent for 15 calendar days without prior notice, will be removed from the rolls of the College. S/he may re-register on production of valid reason(s) or proof and at the discretion of the College Management. All must be present at the first and last day of classes after and before the holidays/Vacations. b) Students must wear College uniform on prescribed days and must wear sober clothes on other days to reflect the culture and values of our country. c) Ragging/Cyber-bullying is punishable offence by law and not practised in Salesian College. Student willing to study at Salesian College as well as the parent/guardian of the student must swear an affidavit to this effect. The decision of the Anti-ragging Cell is final and binding. d) Mobile phones/Tabs/Phablets/Palmtops are allowed for learning purpose in the College campus. Any unauthorised usage of the same results in confiscation. e) Non-compliance or flouting of any rule(s), a student may decide to pay fine to the College as a deterrence and self-reminder so as not to repeat such action(s) in the future. In such an event, College may receive the fine from the students. f) Any dispute that may arise between the parties to the admission contract shall be settled through dialogue and democratic process wherein the decision of the college management shall be final.
