Japan's One Ok Rock Will Be Direct Support on 5 For Immediate Release: JAPAN’S ONE OK ROCK WILL BE DIRECT SUPPORT ON 5 SECONDS OF SUMMER’S UPCOMING SUMMER TOUR BAND TOURING IN SUPPORT OF DEBUT AMERICAN ALBUM, 35XXXV DELUXE EDITION May 16, 2016 — (Burbank, CA) — Celebrated Japanese rock superstars ONE OK ROCK will hit the road this summer as direct support for 5 Seconds of Summer. The tour kicks off July 1st in Connecticut and crisscrosses the U.S. through mid-September. Please see below for all tour dates. ONE OK ROCK toured the U.S. last fall selling out their own headline shows before joining up with All Time Low, winning themselves a legion of new fans from coast to coast. The band is touring in support of their debut American release, 35xxxv Deluxe Edition, which was released in October and peaked at No. 17 on Billboard’s Heatseekers Albums chart. Formed in 2005, ONE OK ROCK is one of Japan’s most beloved rock bands, fusing emo, rock, and metal into their sound. They have released seven albums in Japan, the last four of which have all charted in the Top 5, including 35xxxv, which debuted at No. 1. 35xxxv was produced by John Feldmann (Good Charlotte, All Time Low), who also mixed ONE OK ROCK’S 2013 album JinseixBoku=, and mixed by renowned engineer Chris Lord-Alge. The U.S. Deluxe Edition of the album features all English language vocals, plus two bonus tracks not available on the Japanese edition and altered artwork. Residence Life Recycling has shifted its focus to concen- trate more on education about the importance of recycling than organizing collections, said Debbie Hanson, Program Coordinator for Residence Life. Jim Van Arsdale, Director of Residence Life, said a pro- posed expansion of the recycling program, not budget cuts, were behind the change. “What I understand is that there was a desire to do more (recycling), and that is what we couldn’t afford,” he said. He would not comment further on why the recycling program had ended. Hanson said budget cuts caused the end of the recycling program.
