Tonight’s Game is the first of five non-conference match-ups against BCS programs for the Rams. Last year, the Rams went 3-2 in such games. In Coach Smart’s five years at the Helm, VCU is 12-10 against BCS programs. #CrowdedHouses

When the Rams return to the Siegel center next Tuesday, VCU will return to a place that has sold out 50 straight games, the fifth longest active streak in the country.

With an expected sellout at tonight’s Quicken Loans Veterans Classic, the Rams will have played in front of a capacity crowd in 16 of its past 18 regular season games. #KnockingOnHistorysDoor

Two Rams Enter the 2014-15 with a chance to etch their name in vcu and ncaa history.

Senior Treveon Graham needs just 605 points to break the program’s all-time scoring mark of 1,953 set by former NBA guard Eric Maynor. Graham’s 1,349 career points currently rank 19th on the all-time scoring list.

Classmate Briante Weber has a chance at NCAA history, needing 90 steals to break the all-time steals mark of 385 set by Providence’s John Linehan (1998-2002). Weber already holds the VCU career mark with 296 Thefts. He broke his own single-season mark last year with 121. Weber would be the second Ram to set an NCAA Record under Coach Smart. In 2012, Bradford Burgess set the NCAA Record for Consecutive Games Started with 146. #EyesOnUs

With all 31 regular season games slated for TV, the Rams will have ever game televised for the second straight year. VCU is the one of just two non-BCS schools to achieve that feat. (BYU and Gonzaga are the others)

This Season will include a school record 24 regular season games on national TV.

By the End of this season, VCU will have more than 80 straight games on TV, dating back to the 2012-13 season. #TheNumbersGame
