EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY The RM of Beaver River No. 622 is currently accepting applications for a full time seasonal maintenance operator.

Applicants:

 Must have a Class 1 Drivers Licence

 Must have good communication and organizational skills, be self motivated, and experienced in operating graders, tractors, mowers and snow removal equipment, as well as general maintenance of equipment.

 Must be willing to follow instructions and work unsupervised as this position may develop into a full time lead hand position with supervision of approximately four other employees.

 Must be willing to obtain any necessary tickets required for the job— First Aid, WHMIS, TDGs, etc.

 Work schedule is based on 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week. Extra hours may be required.

Duties Include:

 Grading RM Roads, Snow Removal, Grass Mowing

 Tasks involving backhoe-loader, gravel truck, tractor

 Traffic sign placement

 Assessing, cleaning and repairing of culverts/bridges

 Performing daily and routine maintenance of equipment

 Keeping records of daily work performance and maintenance in the manner prescribed by the RM Administrator

 Other duties as assigned.
