A tough track to learn, but rewarding when you get it right !! We are only at meeting number two on the 2017 series but already some of the early season questions are being answered. Josh Day is on a mission to retain his Open title, but several other riders are upping their pace to put pressure on the current champion. Both Peter Carr and Michael Blank look to have found good early season form, and will need to keep that up as Oulton is one of Day's favourite circuits !!! Max Symonds and Daniel Cooper look the ones to beat in the 600's but Simon Bastable, Alistair Haynes and Kayla Barrington are ready to pounce if the top two make any slip ups. Fast-teenager William Holland has started the year well on his Suzuki Gladius in the Super Twins, and Paul Wardell has started his 2017 in winning style in the Mini Twins, but it was last years top newcomer Jake Dettloff that impressed many at Brand first time out with his new found pace. Paul Williams | Performance of the Meeting Full grids are almost a certainty early season, and riders LOVE Oulton. winner at Oulton last year on his SV 650. As ever Oulton Park is just a one-day meeting, so a rider who can "click" with the circuit quickly is always at an advantage, especially as you consider that Oulton is one of the toughest tracks in the UK to learn with it's blind crests and corners and undulations that can really unsettle a bike that is not set up correctly Race Day Timetable Timetable Sat Timings are subject to change by the promoters and/or circuit management.

In December 2004 Aprilia becomes part of the Piaggio Group which, with the reorganisation of the Noale Racing Division, takes the Veneto-based brand to victories in World Championship Motorcycle Racing and broadens the horizons of sport activity: from the return to the off road discipline, world rally to the début – in 2009 – of the Aprilia RSV4 in World Superbike. During the same period Aprilia has also accumulated 28 World Titles and a countless collection of European and national titles. Every weekend, all over the world, Aprilia motorcycles take to the track on international and local circuits, holding high the honour of Italian and European motorcycling, feeding the biker's desire to race and raising up young riders destined to enter into the world championship world. 60s and 70s Aprilia begins manufacturing motorcycles at the end of the 60's and already in 1970 produces a motocross "fifty" which would evolve into a 125, until arriving at the first competition motocross bike in the mid 70's. After the début in the Motocross sport in 1975, Aprilia enters World Championship Motorcycle Racing to challenge the unbeatable Japanese in the extremely competitive 250 class.
