Thank you for purchasing a Kobo Arc. Your Kobo Arc is a revolutionary new breed of eReader – as well as giving you the easy, comfortable and open reading experience you’ve come to expect from Kobo, it also provides a new way to enjoy and explore your interests – Tapestries. You can add different kinds of content to a Tapestry – a video, a book, an MP3 file or a personal photo – so you end up with a collection that’s meaningful and fun. Once you start personalizing your Tapestries, you’ll get suggestions for related items in the Discover ribbon at the bottom of the screen. What you see in Discover reflects the places, people, ideas, themes, genres, and more in your current Tapestry, and makes it easy to explore what interests you without spending a lot of time searching. Turn your Kobo Arc on or off, or put it b On / Off to sleep. Connect a pair of headphones to listen to c Headphone jack music, video, and audio books. Charging your Kobo Arc We recommend you fully charge your Kobo Arc when you take it out of the box for the first time. You can always see how much charge your Kobo Arc has using the battery icon at the bottom right corner of the screen. A thunderbolt symbol within the battery icon means that your Kobo Arc is charging. While it’s charging, you’ll also see an orange light beside the power button. To charge your Kobo Arc, attach the included wall charger to the Micro USB port at the bottom of your Kobo Arc and plug it into a wall outlet.
