Planning Committee endorsed a targeted update of three of the CCMP’s transformational moves ‐ this covers two of them; . Planning Committee previously asked for an integrated view of the waterfront and city centre ‐ we will be putting forward an integrated LTP submission for the City Centre and Waterfront; . Key interfaces exist with Ports and Waterfront Purpose: . Focus on the opportunities for Downtown and Midtown . Requires design and phasing direction We have enough information to design the northern promenade irrespective of Quay Street carriageway layout Ferry Basin Considerations (Monday 14 August workshop) . The ability to redevelop the ferry basin, including the Downtown Ferry Terminal, will need accommodation by cruise . Piers 3 and 4 will need to be relocated to enable either the seawall works and/or the development of the Downtown Public Spaces – into cruise space . Temporary staging options may need to be considered to enable the development of Downtown Public Spaces and Seawall for America’s Cup.
