TASK

Making a filmed report of the Irish week at your school

From March 19th to March 23rd, 2012, Danny Devenny, Marty Lyons and Mark Ervine will come from to paint a mural about tolerance with you at your school. A special report is going to be carried out by the Emerald Eyes Channel. You are now specialists about , aren’t you? Be prepared to talk about your experience in Belfast last January and present your class project! Enjoy!!

TASKS:

1. Greeting the audience. Presenting the Channel itself. 2. Weather in Thouars. The event and location of the event / project around the mural and also the trip to Northern Ireland. Dates, location 3. Interviews a few students about the trip and the muralists: 6 students. Asks questions, has to find a transition each time he interviews a student. Student n°1: is interviewed about his impressions about two famous districts of Belfast Shankill Road and Falls Road. 4. Transition to introduce the reporter (student n°2) who will interview the muralists and present them. The expert talks about the mural of tolerance and analyses the symbols of a Belfast mural. 5. Thanks the reporters + transition to talk about a famous attraction, the Giant’s Causeway (student n°3) 6. Transition Ulster Folk and Transport Museum + Titanic (student n°4) 7. Transition about the celebrations at Jean Moulin that week (student n°5) 8. Transition to move to the exhibition area. Asks the whole team to follow him/her. TASKS:

1. Right after student n°2, the expert in murals explains the mural of tolerance itself. What they intend to do, talks to students who work on the mural. 2. Explains what sort of murals you can find in Belfast and tries to convince why these muralists were the best to work with us.

The student will shortly describe and analyse a particular mural you can find in Belfast.
