Description
Habit
Perennial, creeping plant can that can reach a height of 12 inches tall.
Leaves
Opposite but alternate at the apex, less than 1.5 inches long, oval or round, sometimes scalloped edges, short leaf stalk.
Stems
Creeping, green in color.
Flowers
1/8 to 1/4 inch wide, saucer-shaped, white or blueish white in color, 2 stamens, 4 rounded petals, bottom petal is smaller and narrower than other 3. Top petals are streaked with dark purple

Contains numerous flattened seeds.
Habitat
Native to Asia. Can be found in moist woods, grasslands, waste places, and disturbed sites.
Reproduction
By seed or vegetatively by rhizomes.
