Grandview -

There is some confusion as to what baseball gear still needs to be purchased so I wanted to touch base.

Grandview provides everyone on the spring teams a home and away jersey. These jerseys will be checked to each player and will need to be returned at the end of the season. This is the only thing that Grandview provides. Players are responsible for the rest of their uniform.

I have attached the Grandview Baseball dress code. It is the same as the past few years with a few exceptions...

The biggest change is we will no longer be wearing pinstripes. So...

ALL LEVELS HOME GAMES - We will wear white knicker pants with blue piping on the side. These will be worn with sanitary socks and stirrups.

ALL LEVELS AWAY GAMES - We will wear long grey pants with blue piping on the side. These will be worn with blue soccer socks.

In addition, these are a few of the items that most of our returning players already own. Please take a minute to make sure that all players have the following as well.

ALL LEVELS will need to purchase a solid royal blue . We all want to look the same so please do not buy with stripes on them. If you have purchased a helmet previously, please make sure that there are no chips in the helmet. Umpires will not allow helmets with chips...you will need to buy a new one.

Most of our players have the matte helmets. Some like the extended flap and some do not. It’s your choice.

*Each player will receive a Grandview "G" sticker for their helmet before our first game.

ALL LEVELS will need a royal blue belt.
