They are excited to come together corporately and worship and honor the Father through music, word, and fellowship. In the future they would like to plan events that involve the community and minister to the Sanford, Florida and the needs of the people. The Daughters of Destiny are looking forward to planning new events for women that will equip and minister to them on a spiritual and natural level. They are looking to reach even further outside of the walls of The Rock of Central Florida.

Pastor James Padgett at The Rock of Central Florida leads this group of mighty young people varying in ages between 12 and 18. He does so with the help of his joyful wife, Shevieve Padgett. Alongside them are several faithful adults that volunteer their time and energy to show a group of teens how to walk in the kingdom while being bombarded by the world. They each bring something special and important to the table. They are a powerhouse group of individuals that come together and make an unstoppable team. We cannot forget to mention the yearly Youth Advance in the summer. If you have never had the privilege of being a youth leader on one of these, you are missing out! Every Advance is truly life changing, and don’t think for a minute the youth hold back. When the youth go, they go to get and give it all! The Advances always have a theme and Pastor James’ focus is always to, “…have the youth come back different than when they left.”

Currently, Pastor James is concentrating his efforts on encouraging The Remnant to get into the scriptures. He frequently has “scripture raffles.” This motivates them to go home and read a particular chapter… because the next week they will share what they learned from it! His long term vision is to facilitate The Remnant in fulfilling their purpose…. In the here and now as well as the future. His intent is to help them find where they need to be, and who they were created to be.
