Dr. Huang leads the analytical component of this project. His role includes acquiring and managing policy data, survey data, scanner data, and other secondary tobacco use outcome data; directing and conducting all econometric and statistical analyses, and taking the lead in preparing scholarly articles, presentations, and publications.

Title: Tobacco control in a rapidly changing environment PI: Emery, Sherry Funding: National Cancer Institute U01CA154254 Total Awards: $7,234,073 Date: 09/2011 - 07/2016 Role: Co-investigator The goals of the project are a) to develop an understanding of the amount and variety of tobacco-related information that both smokers and nonsmokers encounter across media platforms, and b) to analyze the relationships between that information and attitudes, beliefs and smoking behavior. Dr. Huang's main responsibility in this project includes leading the development of survey instruments for a large nationally representative tobacco use survey, as well as leading analysis related to new and emerging tobacco products, and how these
