He then made INTERVIEW his way over to the House of Representatives for its debate and vote on PAGE 6 “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.” Cicilline, the first openly gay mayor of a U.S. state capital (Providence, R.I.), watched first-hand—from the House floor—when the repeal of DADT was passed. “Being there was great, wonderful.
