This document, tabled by the secretariat, provides a copy of administrative arrangement between UNECE and the European Commission Services which recognizes the JRC as the authority responsible for Root and Interoperability Certification for non-EU AETR Contracting Parties. ADMINISTRATIVE ARRANGEMENT BETWEEN THE UNITED NATIONS ECONOMIC COMMISSION FOR EUROPE (UNECE) AND EUROPEAN COMMISSION SERVICES

The Joint Research Centre and the Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport of the European Commission, represented for the purpose of signing of this Administrative Arrangement by Dan Chirondojan, Director of Directorate E - Space, Security & Migration of the Joint Research Centre, and by F,lisabeth Werner, Director for Land Transport of the Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport, respectively, duly entitled to sign,

and

United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), with the registered address at Palais des Nations, CH, 1211 Geneva 10, Switzerland, represented by Yuwei Li, Director, Sustainable Transport Division, duly entitled to sign, hereafter referred to as 'the Sides'

Section 1

Tlie activities envisaged in the Memorandum of Understanding between the European Commission services and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe of 2009, as last modified by the Amendment to the Supplement to the Memorandum of Understanding of 16 July 2018 will continue for further 24 montlis, namely, from 1 January 2021 to 31 December 2022.

Section 2

The coordinators for the Sides referred to in Section 3, paragraph 2 of the Memorandum of Understanding will be the following:
