The president of “Cuadrilatero”, who was admitted a few days ago due to a lung problem that been affecting him for several months and kept him away from the ring, suffered cardiac arrest. Due to his health problems, Billy could not attend his pupils’ last fights, but sent his nephew, Sergio Chams. Chams lived with his wife, Tuly Leyva, but did not have any children. His wake is taking place since Sunday afternoon at the Eternal Gardens, in the highway to Cartagena. His body will be cremated on Monday at four pm. Internado hace unos días por un problema pulmonar, que le aquejaba hace varios meses y que lo obligó a alejarse de manera física de los ensogados, el presidente de la cuerda Cuadrilátero sufrió un paro cardíaco. “Es un golpe duro que recibimos todos sus pupilos”, declaró el actual campeón supergallo de la Federación Internacional de Boxeo (FIB), Jonathan ‘Momo’ Romero, el último de los 15 titulares mundiales en la historia de Cuadrilátero, presente en la clínica en el momento del deceso. Por problemas de salud, a las últimas peleas mundiales de sus pupilos no asistió y envió a su sobrino, Sergio Chams. Chams vivía con su esposa Tuly Leyva, pero no hubo hijo en el matrimonio. Desde la tarde del domingo su cuerpo es velado en Jardines de la Eternidad, en la autopista que conduce a Cartagena. Allí mismo se cremará este lunes, a las cuatro de la tarde.
