How to Mirror Your Screen for the Phoenix Children’s Power Play Premiere The virtual Power Play Premiere takes places November 13 at 5 p.m. Follow this guide to mirror your screen with Apple TV, , TV or Roku Streaming Stick, Fire TV Stick, a smart TV, or a PC with an HDMI cable.

Note: For most of these methods, the phone or computer you are using to screen mirror from needs to be connected to the same Wi-Fi as the device plugged into your TV.

Apple TV:

On your iPhone or iPad:

 On an iPhone X or later, swipe down from the top-right corner of your screen. If you have an iPhone 8 or earlier, you should swipe up the bottom of your screen to access your control panel.

Once open tap the screen mirroring icon that looks like  Select your AirPlay20-compatible smart TV or your Apple TV from the list that pops up  If an AirPlay passcode is needed, it will appear on your TV. You can enter that passcode into your iPhone or iPad

On a Mac:

 On your Mac, click in the menu bar at the top of your screen.  If you don’t see this icon you can go to Apple Menu > System Preferences > Displays; then select “Show Mirroring option in the menu bar when available.”  When the options pop up, select either your AppleTV or AirPlay2-compatible smart TV device.  If you are required to input an AirPlay passcode, the code will pop up on you TV and you can enter it on your Mac.

When you are ready to stop screen mirroring on your iOS device, open your control center, tap Screen Mirroring, then select Stop Mirror or AirPlay off. Or on your Apple TV, click the menu button on the Apple TV remote.

Roku TV or Roku Streaming Stick

From an Android device:

 Depending on your device, there are a few ways you can find the screen mirroring settings. o On most standard Android devices Click Settings > Display > Cast Screen. From here, click Menu in the top right-hand corner and then check Enable Wireless Display. Your Roku device should appear as an option to select. o On Samsung, HTC, and LG Devices Click Settings > Connect and Share > Screen Mirroring. Your Roku device should appear as an option to select.

From a Windows computer:

 Open the action center on your Windows device. Refer to this Microsoft article if you need help locating the action center.  Select Connect. o Note: You may need to expand the action center to see the Connect option.  After a moment, you will see a list of wireless display and audio devices.  Select your Roku device and follow the on-screen instructions.

Chromecast

Using the Chrome browser on a computer:

 Open the Chrome browser on your computer.

 In the top right, click More > Cast.  Choose the Chromecast device you want to use to mirror your screen (if you are already using the Chromecast, you screen will replace what is on your TV)

 To stop casting, look to the right of the address bar. There is a Cast . Click it, then Stop.

From an Android Device:

 Download and open the Google Home App.  Click the Menu button in the top-left corner; then click Cast screen/audio at the top of the menu.  Select your Chromecast from the list to begin your screen mirroring.  We advise you to turn your device so it’s in landscape-mode and you can see the full screen.  To stop screen mirroring, click Disconnect in the menu, or open your notification shade and click Disconnect under the Casting screen.

Amazon Fire TV Stick

Accessing the Streaming Site Directly Using a Browser on the Fire Stick:

 If you do not currently have the Silk Brower App use the Fire Stick Remote go to Apps > Categories > Utility and download the browser.  Choose the Silk Browser on your Apps screen and in the web address bar enter the link provided to access the concert

Screen Mirroring From a PC:

 Press and hold the Home button on the Fire Stick Remote.  Select Mirroring to make your Fire Stick Discoverable.  From your PC, open the notifications section by clicking the text message icon at the bottom right corner of your screen (it could also be empty if you don’t have any notifications). Click

Connect, and you should be able to see your Fire Stick listed if your devices are on the same WiFi Network. You can also use your computer’s search bar to search for the Connect app.  Click on your Firestick listed and it will connect. You will be able to see your PC screen mirrored on your TV that your Firestick is plugged into.

Smart TVs:

Most Smart TVs now allow you to download certain apps for use directly with your TV.

 Click the home button on your Smart TV Remote. Once on the home screen navigate to the far left where an Apps button should appear.  From the Apps main page find the Youtube App, click the thumbnail to bring you to an install button.  Once the app is installed click the home button your remote again and scroll to the right to find and open the Youtube App.

HDMI Cable with a PC:

We believe that this is the easiest method to screen mirror, but it does require you to have the proper HDMI cord to connect to your computer.

 Take one end of your HDMI cable and plug it into your TV.  Plug the other end of the HDMI cable into your computer.  On your TV remote, select either input or source. It should be either HDMI 1 or HDMI 2 depending on what port you plugged your HDMI cable into.  After you select HDMI 1 or HDMI 2, you should now see your computer screen is now on your TV screen.
