2021 Harrison Recreation Youth Football Cheerleading Program Grades: 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th

Each cheerleader will receive a uniform which will include a cheer uniform and hair bow. You will be responsible to provide black leggings, white ankle socks, white sneakers (keds, etc...), white long sleeve turtleneck or mock neck shirt.

Practices will be held on Wednesdays 6-7pm at a Location TBD (Possible locations are WHP, LMK Turf, Feeley Field or Sollazzo Center). The first overall practice will be Wednesday September 8th @ LMK Turf Field from 6-7pm. Cheer Uniform Fitting will be at first practice: Sept 8, LMK @ 6 – 7pm (During Practice). *Parent or guardian must attend to sign off on sizes.

September- 8th, 15h, 22th, and 29th October- 6rd, 13th, 20th, and 27th November- TBD

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Practices are extremely important. Missed practices may result in your child not participating at games. There are only 8 scheduled practices with a possible 9th in November depending on how long the season lasts. With that being said you are allowed 2 excused absences. Even with an excused absence your child may not be allowed to participate in cheering for a game that week. It is dependent on their knowledge of and capableness to perform them at that time. If your child misses 3 practices, it may result in being removed from the program without a refund.

GAMES

Games could be played on Wednesday/Friday Nights or Saturday/Sunday Mornings. We will not have a game schedule far in advance. Unfortunately we have no control over the schedule or scheduling process for games. Games will be played at LMK or High School Turf and in neighboring towns.

***Columbus Day Parade – Cheerleaders lead the parade to Riis Park*** Monday, October 11th – Line up at 9:30am, Parade starts at 10am. Meet on the corner of Thatcher and Halstead (Downtown)
