Cast Bios

TIM MATHESON (Al Dodge) – Mr. Matheson began his acting career as a child, co- starring opposite in the series "Window on Main Street." His work as a voiceover artist became known to audiences worldwide when he was cast as the original voice for the animated character Jonny Quest. As a young man, he had a breakout role when he played Otter in the renowned comedy film "National Lampoon's ."

He's gone on to star in numerous telefilms and features, among them "She's All That," "The Story of Us," "Wolf Lake" and the miniseries "Jackie Bouvier Kennedy Onassis," in which he portrayed John F. Kennedy. He continues doing voiceover work, having recorded the narration for the revival of Disney's "Fantasia." Most recently Mr. Matheson was seen in the movie “Van Wilder: Party Liaison.” He continues to be seen weekly on the hit television series “” as Vice President John Hoynes, for which he received an Emmy® nomination in 2002.

Born in Glendale, , Matheson is married with three children.

SEAN YOUNG (Sandy Bateman) – Ms. Young first gained notoriety when she was cast as the seductive replicant in the feature "," opposite . She went on to star in numerous feature roles such as “Ace Ventura: Pet Detective” with Jim Carrey, "No Way Out" with , "Wall Street" with , "Cousins" with Ted Danson and "A Kiss Before Dying" with Matt Dillon.

She has starred in such telefilms as the award-winning legal , "Witness To The Execution," "Blue Ice" with , and the miniseries "Blood and Orchids" with Kris Kristofferson. She also starred in "Everything To Gain."

With an intensive background, Young made her stage debut in Los Angeles in the musical review "Stardust" with Toni Tenille and Hinton Battle. She also performed with Gregory Hines at a special benefit for the American Tap Dance Orchestra.

EDWARD ASNER (Auggie Sinclair) – Mr. Asner started his acting career on the stage in New York, starring in the off-Broadway production of "Three Penny Opera." He went on to portray numerous villains on television during the . But, it wasn't until he was cast as the hot-tempered in "The Show" in 1970 that his career took off. He won three Emmys® during the show's seven-year run and then went on to star in his own series, the hour-long drama "Lou Grant."

A seven-time Emmy® Award winner, Asner has been a powerful force in Hollywood, serving two terms as president of the Screen Actors Guild. Recent work has included roles in the feature films "The Animal" and "The Bachelor" in addition to such telefilms as "Missing Brendon," "The Confidence Game" and a series in production, "The Commission."

KRISTEN BELL (Alison Dodge) – Ms. Bell was cast in the role of Susanna Walcott in the Broadway revival of Arthur Miller's "" starring and Laura Linney. Her other credits on stage include playing Becky in a Broadway production of "Tom Sawyer," along with roles in productions of "Hair," "Wizard of Oz" and "The Miracle Worker."

She has also appeared in the off-Broadway show “Reefer Madness” and the films "Pootie Tang" and "A Polish Wedding." Most recently, Ms. Bell has appeared in the award-winning television series "" and “American Dreams.” She attended NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.
