NOTICE OF MUNICIPAL ELECTION RESOLUTION #12-12-2020-1 BE IT RESOLVED by the governing Board of Trustees of the Town of Para- dise Hill, State of Oklahoma, that for the purpose of electing officers of the said Town, a nonpartisan special election shall be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 and; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that no Municipal primary election shall be held, all filings will be nonpartisan, and the filing period for electing officers of said Town shall begin 8:00 a.m on Monday, February 1, 2021, and close at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, and; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that to be eligible to become a candidate, a person must for at least six (6) months prior to filing a declaration of candidacy be a registered voter at an address within the municipality, and; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Elective Officer of the Town is to be elected at large; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all candidates will be placed on the ballot as independent candidates as provided for in Section 16-105.1 of Title II, Okla- homa Statutes, and; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that three (3) Trustees will be elected for a four (4) year term. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that absentee ballots will be provided in ac- cordance with State Law.
