7809 Government Gazette OF THE STATE OF NEW SOUTH WALES Number 150 Wednesday, 17 October 2007 Published under authority by Government Advertising SPECIAL SUPPLEMENT SENATORS’ ELECTIONS ACT 1903 Order Under Section 3 WHEREAS in section 3 of the Senators’ Elections Act 1903, it is provided that, for the purpose of elections of Senators for New South Wales of the Parliament of the Commonwealth, the Governor may, from time to time, by Order published in the Gazette, fi x the dates for the issue of the writ; the close of the electoral rolls; the nomination of the candidates; the polling; and the return of the writ: NOW, therefore, I Professor MARIE BASHIR, Companion of the Order of Australia, Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and pursuant to the provisions of section 3 of the said Act, do, by this Order, fi x the following dates for the undermentioned purposes, viz., The issue of the writ 17 October 2007 The close of the electoral rolls 23 October 2007 The nomination of the candidates 1 November 2007 The polling 24 November 2007 The return of the writ no later than 25 January 2008 GIVEN under my hand and seal this seventeenth day of October in the year of Our Lord, two thousand and seven. MARIE BASHIR, A.C., Governor By Her Excellency’s Command MORRIS IEMMA, M.P., Premier 7810 SPECIAL SUPPLEMENT 17 October 2007 EXOTIC DISEASES OF ANIMALS ACT 1991 Order – Section 15 Declaration of Restricted Area – Special Restricted Area (Purple) – Tamworth to Camden I, IAN JAMES ROTH, Deputy Chief Veterinary Offi cer, with the powers the Minister has delegated to me under section 67 of the Exotic Diseases of Animals Act 1991 (‘the Act’) and pursuant to section 15 of the Act and being of the opinion that the area specifi ed in Schedule 1 may be or become infected with the exotic disease Equine infl uenza hereby: 1. revoke the order declared under section 15 of the Act titled “Declaration of Restricted Area – Special Restricted Area (Purple) Tamworth to Camden” dated 11 October 2007 and any order revived as a result of this revocation; 2. declare the area specifi ed in Schedule 1 to be a restricted area, to be known as the “Special Restricted Area (Purple) – Greater Purple”; and 3. declare the areas specifi ed in Schedule 2 to be a restricted area, to be known as “Special Restricted Area (Purple) – Tamworth to Camden” as shown on the map in Schedule 2 below; and 4. declare that the classes of animals, animal products, fodder, fi ttings or vehicles to which this order applies are those described in Schedule 3. SCHEDULE 1 Special Restricted Area (Purple) – Greater Purple That area comprising the parishes of NSW and suburbs of Sydney listed in the table below except the area described as follows: The area within the line commencing at the point where the M7 motorway crosses Richmond Road, thence in a generally northerly and westerly direction along Richmond Road to its junction with Llandilo Road, thence south-westerly along Llandilo Road to the northern edge of Castlereagh Bicentennial Demonstration Forest, thence westerly along the northern edge of the Forest to The Northern Road, thence south-westerly along The Northern Road to its junction with Whitegates Road, thence westerly along Whitegates Road to its junction with Londonderry Road, thence southerly along Londonderry Road to its junction with Boscobel Road, thence westerly along Boscobel Road to its junction with Nutt Road, then northerly along Nutt Road to Devlin Road, then generally westerly along Devlin Road to the eastern bank of the Nepean River, thence across the Nepean River in a direct line to the mouth of Lynchs Creek, thence westerly and upstream along Lynchs Creek to where it fl ows out of the Blue Mountains National Park, thence generally northerly along the eastern boundary of the Blue Mountains National Park by the suburbs of Yarramundi, Grose Wold, Grose Vale, Bowen Mountain and Kurrajong Heights to a point at which the park boundary turns sharply west close to Rain Ridge Road, Kurrajong Heights, thence from this point directly north across the Bells Line of Road (about mid-way between Val Wheeler Drive and Coach House Road, Kurrajong Heights) to the boundary of the Wollemi National Park, thence generally easterly along the southern boundary of the Wollemi National Park (crossing Cedar Ridge Road and next the Comleroy Road) to where the Wollemi National Park meets the Putty Road at its junction with Packer Road, thence from this point easterly along the creek known as Turnbulls Arm to its confl uence with the Colo River, thence downstream along the Colo River to its confl uence with the Hawkesbury River, then generally easterly along the Hawkesbury River to One Tree Reach (just below Laughtondale), thence from the southern bank of the Hawkesbury River across the Singleton Road to the boundary of the Marramarra National Park close to One Tree Hill, thence along the northern and then western boundaries in an anticlockwise direction to the point at which the boundary approaches Canoelands Road about 1.5 km east of its junction with the Old Northern Road, thence directly south across Canoelands Road to a continuation of the boundary of the Marramarra National Park, then continuing in an anticlockwise direction in, fi rst, a generally westerly and then a generally southerly and then a generally easterly direction along the boundary of the Marramarra National Park to where it meets Berowra Creek, thence directly across Berowra Creek to Muogamarra Nature Reserve, thence southerly and anticlockwise around the southern boundary of Muogamarra Nature Reserve to where it meets the Pacifi c Highway (close to the Cowan Works Depot), thence generally southerly along the Pacifi c Highway to its junction with Berowra Waters Road, thence in a generally north-westerly direction along Berowra Waters Road to where it meets the boundary of the Berowra Valley Regional Park, thence anticlockwise around the boundary of the Berowra Valley Regional Park (including its northern crossing of Berowra Creek at The Woolwash, and where it crosses the Galston Road in Galston Gorge) to where Georges Creek enters the Regional Park (close to Fallon Drive, The Knoll, Dural), thence generally westerly and upstream along Georges Creek to Hastings Road, thence south-westerly along the Hastings Road to its junction with Old Northern Road, thence southerly along the Old Northern Road to its junction with the Showground Road, thence generally westerly along the Showground Road to its junction with the Windsor Road, then southerly along the Windsor Road to its junction with Norwest Boulevard, thence generally westerly along the Norwest Boulevarde to the M7 motorway, thence westerly along the M7 motorway to the point of commencement.
