ith the help of many generous companies and medical organizations, we sent medicines and donated medical supplies valued at $189 Wmillion around the world this year. These supplies touched the lives of more than 1.67 million people. One of those who received help was Adil, an 84-year old man living in Kyrgyzstan. Ethnic violence in his country forced Adil to flee for his life. His son carried Adil thanks God for a new wheelchair. his father in his arms to the safety of a refugee camp. atasha Crunican was a teen model, with a beautiful smile and a happy life. NYet, Natasha—raised by her grandparents—always longed to live with her mother who had a troubled life. So, as soon as she turned 18, Natasha left her grandparents to reside with her mother. Unfortunately, Natasha’s mother was a drug mobile dental addict. Soon, Natasha also started abusing drugs. She went to jail 17 times. Her teeth begin to fall out due to her drug use. The last time she was in jail, Natasha went to a drug treatment program. When she was released, she was referred to our mobile dental van for help. “My teeth were severely damaged. I only had six teeth left on the Mobile Dental Clinics top of my mouth,” Natasha said. riscilla Lewis grew up next door to a family that could not afford the health care needed Pfor a dying relative. This led her to spend 36 years in health care, first as a nurse and then in healthcare administration— volunteers always with the goal to ensure people who needed help would have access to health care. “It is really a privilege to be part of people’s lives as a nurse or health care provider.
