RE-INSPECTIONS If any schedule inspection is not ready when the inspector arrives on site or the inspector is unable to enter the site, a re-inspection fee of $60.00 will be charged.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS No refund after 6 months from the date of issuance. Upon written request, prior to commencement of any work, permits may be cancelled by the holder and 70% of the permit fee will be refunded, except not less than $50.00 will be retained by the Township to cover administrative expenses. In cases where work has commenced and a request for cancellation is received a fee of $50.00 shall be charged for each inspection. Refund shall be based on 70% of the remainder of the permit fee, except as otherwise provided above.
RENEWAL FEES Mechanical permits shall be valid for 180 days. However, an additional 180 day renewal may be obtained by the original permit holder in writing by payment of a $60.00 renewal fee.
UNSECURED PERMITS When work is started for which a permit is required, before a permit is secured, the permit fee shall be doubled. In cases where special investigation is required, an additional fee for an on-site inspection prior to the building permit review will be charged.
