For example, the girls swimming season is in the fall, but a few Ithaca High varsity team members are staying very busy in the pool this summer. United Southern Tier Swimming Club, which is made up of swimmers from Ithaca, Owego, and Horseheads, has become an option to keep competitors active virtually all year long.
