Introduction Since 2005, when the PDGA International Program was launched, PDGA activity has grown exponentially beyond the USA and Canada. By 2014 there were 3100+ current PDGA International members and 360+ PDGA Tour events in Europe, Japan, South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand. All told the PDGA, through the International Program, now partners with more than 25 national disc golf and disc sports associations across Europe, and in eastern Asia and Oceania. Elsewhere, in Latin America & the Caribbean, Africa, the Middle East, and other corners of the globe where disc golf is beginning to take flight, the PDGA serves as a resource base for building the game at the grassroots level. -

On September 14-15 boyfriends, husbands and all Events other men will only be allowed to caddy for 128 women and girls, from under 10 years old to over 50, that are coming to Colorado from 14 May 3-5 different states around the country. The Colorado Disc Sports Association 36th Grateful Disc is proud to announce that 5 of the top 6 ranked women disc golfers in the Spring Frisbee Festival Fort Collins, CO World and 10 World Champion women, some multiple times, are coming to PDGA B-Tier Denver to compete in the largest women’s only disc golf tournament in Colorado history! For the players, all OBs, layouts, and schedules are in this player guide. Please read thoroughly! If you have any questions, ask an event TD. We are the ones in red wearing a lanyard. Every basket will have a 10 meter string attached or a painted 10 meter circle. If there is no circle painted, to determine whether or not you are “outside,” simply pull the string to your lie. If the string does not reach the front of your disc, you are outside 10 meters. Please be courteous and replace the string beneath the basket after measuring. Saturday night we will be hosting a Player’s Party sponsored by Grip Equipment at Grand Woods! Food and fun free to all players. Here you can grab some food, compete in a speed putting competition, throw in the long drive contest and participate in the fly-mart/swap meet. -

(Sept. 10, 2019) — Get ready to witness the most exciting event of the year as disc golf’s best compete for four electrifying days to win the prestigious U.S. Disc Golf Championship, USDGC. The event will end in a huge celebration including a distance throwing showcase benefitting Throw Pink, a non-profit that supports women’s health initiatives. The USDGC will be held Oct. 2 – 5 at the gorgeous Winthrop University Recreation Complex. Food and beverages will be available on site. To supplement the live action, live streaming of the competitors will be featured on flat-screen televisions in select seating areas. The USDGC Pro Shop, located near Hole 1, will sell apparel and disc golf supplies in commemoration of the USDGC.
