DEAR PATRONS © Carter Rose

That leg lamp. “You’ll shoot your eye out!” A tongue stuck to a flag pole. Pink bunny pajamas. And a four-letter word. All of these things from the popular 1983 movie A Christmas Story are part of many people’s holiday traditions – and now they’re part of the iconography of Broadway.

A Christmas Story, The Musical isn’t just fun – it’s good – featuring songs from the team behind the Tony-winning and the Oscar- winning La La Land. And we’re proud to present it here in the incomparable Winspear Opera House.

Next up in the AT&T Performing Arts Center’s Broadway Series is the #1 longest- running American musical in Broadway history, Chicago; followed by A Bronx Tale; then the Lincoln Center Theater production of Falsettos; the hilarious The Play That Goes Wrong; back by popular demand is Beautiful – The Carole King Musical; direct from London is Bat Out of Hell; then Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!

If it’s Christmas shows you love, Dallas Theater Center’s A Christmas Carol (a Dallas tradition!) is across the street in the Wyly Theatre through December 30. 2018 has been such an exciting year here at AT&T Performing Arts Center, and we’d love to see you again before it’s over!

Happy holidays,

Debbie Storey Interim President & CEO AT&T Performing Arts Center
