Bled has been chosen by FIDE as the Host City for the 35th Chess Olympiad and 73rd FIDE Congress in the year 2002. It is a great pleasure for us to extend our sincere invitation to participate in the 35th Chess Olympiad to be held between October 25 to November 11 and 73rd FIDE Congress to be held between November 1 to November 10 2002. (November 1 arrival for Committee and Commission members; November 2 to 4 Meetings; November 5 and 6 Executive Board, November 7 arrival for FIDE delegates, November 8 to 10 FIDE General Assembly). We will host the costs of maximum 7 members (captain + 6 players) of Men's Team and maximum 5 members (captain + 4 players) of Women's Team for each participating federation. Accommodation will be on full board basis from October 25 2002 (arrival day) until November 11 2002 (departure day) for a total 17 days (14 rounds + 2 free days).

    Pack de Aperturas EDAMI: Gambito de Dama rehusado 5.Af4 GAMBITO DE DAMA REHUSADO VARIANTE BLACKBURNE 5.AF4 1.d4 d4 2.c4 e6 3.Cc3 Cf6 4.Cf3 Ae7 5.Af4 El Gambito de Dama Rehusado constituye una de las aperturas “históricas” del juego ciencia, pues casi desde el mismo comienzo de este lo a acompañado por el de cursar de su historia. Estudiar al mismo, es sin lugar a dudas hacer un viaje en el tiempo en el Ajedrez, pues obligatoriamente para comprender este sistema hay que aprender sobre partidas con más de cien años de antigüedad, así como la característica de los jugadores de que la practicaron en sus comienzos. Gary Kasparov en sus “geniales” libros Mis Geniales Predecesores, describe al Gambito de Dama Rehusado como la apertura de los encuentros por el Campeonato Mundial, y no es para menos ya que en muy pocas citas a faltado. Bueno y que mejor merito que el de tener la reputación de haber servido durante más de cien años en la disputa del máximo titulo a nivel mundial. La primera partida que se tiene registro del Gambito de Dama, data del 1620. En otras palabras, es una apertura que consta con más de 385 años, casi cuatro siglos de antigüedad. Claro que los sistemas comenzaron a surgir en la misma medida que iba evolucionando y desarrollándose la propia apertura, de ahí salió La Defensa Eslava, La Defensa Semi-Eslava, El Gambito de Dama, y dentro del Gambito de Dama Rehusado un sinnúmeros de variantes y sistemas, dentro de la cual se encuentra el sistema que estudiaremos en este pack.
