Two former Panthers, receiver Larry Fitzgerald (Arizona Cardinals) and punter Andy Lee (San Francisco 49ers), played in the all-star game after enjoying outstanding seasons. In addition to Fitzgerald and Lee, other Pitt products who have been Pro Bowl fixtures this decade include a pair of future Pro Football Hall of Famers in offensive lineman Ruben Brown and running back Curtis Martin.
