Alfred State Student Code of Conduct Addendum COVID-19 Public Health Emergency On August 23, t he FDA granted full Additional Responsibilities & approval of the Pfizer/BioNTech Covid- 19 vaccine. In accordance with SUNY’s Requirements for Students mandatory vaccine policy, all students must submit proof of vaccination by (Fall 2021) Friday, September 24, or have been granted an exemption by the College. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and in accordance with the College’s original reopening plan, an addendum was made to the Student Code of Conduct for the purpose of communicating and enforcing student responsibilities. Throughout the 2020-21 Academic Year, this addendum was modified several times to reflect SUNY policy and the evolving needs of the College. This policy has again been amended to reflect the College’s Fall 2021 COVID-19 Plan and will continue to be updated throughout the academic year as necessary. Returning students will note that some of the prior expectations have been eased for vaccinated individuals. In addition, the uniform sanctioning guidelines established by SUNY during the Fall 2021 Semester, and subsequently incorporated into the Code of Conduct, are no longer in effect. The expectations below shall take precedence over any contradictory language within the Code of Conduct. Section 3.5 d. Public Health Emergency Safeguards: All students, commensurate with their vaccination status and setting, are responsible for actively complying with the precautions the College has established to protect against the spread of COVID-19. Such mitigations may include the use of personal protective equipment (PPE); observing physical/social distancing; complying with all expectations concerning gatherings and hosting guests; quarantining or isolating as directed; and participating in testing and daily screenings. -

The History of Baker University Men’s Track and Field Andrew McGregor HI 436 Senior Thesis Dr. Exon April 2, 2007 McGregor 2 Intercollegiate athletics came to national prominence in the late nineteenth century; football, baseball, and track and field were among the earliest organized.1 Football is often the most popular sport and has garnered more attention from universities, journalists, and historians. Success in football was important to universities as it led to enhanced name recognition, revenue, and elevated student and alumni morale. Track and field on the other hand is considered by journalists and universities to be a second tier sport; one that accrues no revenue, honors individuals over institutions, and where success is sometimes difficult to measure.2 Yet, as one of the few original Olympic sports sponsored by institutions of higher education, track and field serves as a showcase of the best athletes of the nation and the world, at least according to USA Track & Field (USATF) the National Governing Body for track and field.3 And historically, relay events or festivals were a primary means of collegiate institution promotion. Unfortunately, relay events typically occurred once annually at each college; therefore their impact was significantly less than football or baseball, which provided multiple home contests. Firmly implanted as a younger and less attractive athletics sibling to football, baseball, and later basketball; nevertheless the sport of track and field has endured and prospered according to its own measures. All-Americans and national place finishers indicate the level of programmatic success. Championship track teams are rare because of complex scoring as well as the individualized and broad scope of the sport. -

History of the Chaplaincy at DePauw A History of the Chaplaincy at DePauw University Katherine E. Smanik Conversations about the spiritual lives of college students continue to grow within the student affairs profession. However, one area that has received little attention in this conversation is the role of chaplaincy in helping students explore their religious identities and providing spiritual care for the campus community. This paper traces the history of the chaplaincy at DePauw University as a way to look at shifts in perception of the role of religion in higher education. These shifts are significant because in a span of 70 years understandings of how one should engage religion have moved dramatically from a focus on Christian evangelism to a focus on engagement with religious pluralism. Chaplains have done this work for decades and offer a unique perspective on how to support college student religious and spiritual development in a rapidly changing environment. LincolnSudbury Regional High School 390 Lincoln Road Sudbury, MA 01776 LINCOLNSUDBURY REGIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICT RESIDENCY POLICY The LincolnSudbury Regional School Committee feels that students best flourish in a supportive school environment that is in concert with an equally supportive home environment. With the exception of rare and unique circumstances, a student’s residence is the home where his or her parent(s) or legal guardian(s) reside. In circumstances where parents or guardians live separately and custody is shared, or another arrangement exists, one guideline that the Superintendent/Principal will use in any residence consideration is whether or not the district is the principal location of the student’s domestic, social and civil life. In order to attend LincolnSudbury Regional High School, a student must be a resident dependent, with his/her parent(s) or legal guardian(s), of either the Town of Lincoln or the Town of Sudbury as defined in MA General Law Chapter 76, Section 5 or qualify in accordance with one of the following exceptions: o A student participating in the METCO Program o A student participating in the Student Exchange Program o A student whose parent or legal guardian is an employee of LincolnSudbury Regional School District (teacher, administrator, clerical, educational support or buildings & grounds) who works a minimum of 20 hours per week and who would also be eligible for such benefits as health insurance. o A student whose parent or legal guardian is an employee of the Lincoln or Sudbury Public Schools, provided that said school districts have a policy which provides dependent children of LincolnSudbury Regional School District employees equivalent access and said policy is implemented in the same manner as this policy is implemented. -

Yet the gang stalking experience has been subject to little scientific study. This paper reports an attempt to elicit the core phenomena involved in gang-stalking by allowing them to emerge de novo through the qualitative analysis of accounts of individuals who describe being gang-stalked. Fifty descriptions of gang-stalking that satisfied study inclusion criteria were identified from the internet and subjected to content analysis. Twenty-four core phenomena were elicited, together with 11 principal sequelae of the experience of being gang-stalked. These were then divided into groups, producing a framework for the phenomena of the gang-stalking experience. The results were compared with frequencies of the same categories of experience then extracted from the original data of the only previous study on gang-stalking phenomena. Whilst the methodology of the current study was more rigorous, the core phenomena were similar in each.
