Neurology Perspectives is a gold open access journal from the Sociedad Española de Neurología (Spanish Neurology Society) and a companion journal to Neurología. The content of Neurology Perspectives covers everything from neuroepidemiology, clinical neurology, neurological management and care/therapy, to basic neuroscience research applied to neurology. The journal complies with the International Committee of Medical Journal Editor's Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts (detailed examples available at: http://www.ICMJE.org). The overriding criteria for publication are originality, a high scientific quality and interest to a wide audience of those concerned with all aspects of neurology. The subject areas of the Journal include pediatric neurology, neuropsychology, neurorehabilitation and geriatric neurology. The articles published in Neurology Perspectives are evaluated in a double-blind review process. The articles are selected based on their quality, originality and interest, then undergo a process for their improvement. The article formats include Editorials, Original Articles, Review Articles, Scientific letters and Letters to the Editor. Neurology Perspectives is a platform for scientific information whose quality is recognized by professionals interested in neurology articles published in English and Spanish. Neurology Perspectives es una revista de acceso abierto de la Sociedad Española de Neurología. El contenido de Neurology Perspectives abarca desde neuroepidemiología, neurología clínica, manejo neurológico y cuidado / terapéutica, hasta investigación básica en neurociencia aplicada a la neurología. La revista cumple con los Requisitos de Uniformidad del Comité Internacional de Publicaciones Biomédicas (http://www.ICMJE.org). Los criterios principales para la publicación son la originalidad, la alta calidad científica y e interés para una amplia audiencia de aquellos interesados en todos los aspectos de la neurología. Las áreas temáticas de la revista incluyen neurología pediátrica, neuropsicología, neurorrehabilitación y neurología geriátrica. Los artículos publicados en Neurology Perspectives se evalúan en un proceso de revisión doble ciego. Los artículos se seleccionan en función de su calidad, originalidad e interés, luego se someten a un proceso para su mejora. Types of article Any article in this journal involving experiments with human or animal subjects will follow the guidelines in the "Human and animal rights" described in the "Ethics in publishing" section of this guide for authors. Authors should clearly indicate in the manuscript that such guidelines have been followed, as well as the statement that informed consent was obtained for experimentation with human subjects. For any section of this journal: Original articles, Review articles, Scientific letters, Editorials and Letters to the Editor, the three epigraphs: Ethical considerations, Funding and Conflict of interest should be added at the end of the articles and before the References epigraph. Ethical considerations: If the work involves the use of human subjects, the author should ensure that the work described has been carried out in accordance with The Code of Ethics of the World Medical Association (Declaration of Helsinki) for experiments involving
