Provenance: From the Departmental Archives of the Haute‐Vienne. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the filmed collection via the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archives Project Division in 2003.

Biographical/Historical note: The Haute‐Vienne was the demarcation line between the occupied and unoccupied zone. Consequently, many surreptitious movements of persons and materials occurred there. The documents in this collection reflect that.
