Health and Safety Procedures · Gates and doors will be left open, so there is no need to touch them. Windows will also be open {please dress accordingly!} · Please social distance {2m} along the path and in church at all times. · Please use provided hand gel as you enter and leave. · Please fill up from the front and sit only where you see a service book. Please take the pew sheet but NOT the service booklet when you leave. No hymn books will be used. · Leave from the back rows first. · Please avoid chatting on entering and leaving church, but go straight to your seat. · Children will need to remain seated with family groups, so please bring appropriate distractions as necessary. Sidespeople will be available to help, should you require them. . Please place your offering in the box, at the rear of church, either before or after the service. Important notice about the end of restrictions. On July 19th, Covid restrictions officially and legally ended. However, it is the decision of the clergy and PCCs of this Benefice that, for the moment, we will continue to maintain safety protocols. As those who are called to love one another, we have a responsibility to put the needs of others ahead of our own needs. Amongst our congregation, we number some vulnerable people and some who are anxious about the ending of restrictions. All have the right to attend worship and none should be prevented from doing so because they don’t feel safe. For this reason we would like to encourage you to continue to wear your mask and exercise social distancing for worship, if not for your own protection then out of concern for inclusivity and the welfare of your sisters and brothers in Christ. Thank you for your gracious understanding. Although we can now sing, please note that this will be in masks. Our Benefice Service next Sunday will be held at St Peter's Church, Quernmore at 10.15. There will be another bike race taking place next Sunday morning. The vicar and churchwardens strongly advise that you come through Quernmore, rather than the far Stock-a- Bank end if you are coming from the Lancaster end to church. The race looks to be covering the area around the Postern Gate end but not going into Quernmore itself

The next Partners in Environment Youth Group will be on Sunday 12 September from 10-1 in . It is for secondary school aged children. We are going to be in the woods and it will be a sort of forest school/bushcraft event and the youngsters will also be cooking their lunch. Please contact the vicar or Rob Foster to find out more.
