CLOSURE ORDER NO. 09-05-20-04 USDA Forest Service Mark Twain National Forest Wilderness Aerial Gunning

Pursuant to 16 USC 551 and 36 CFR 261.50 (a) and (b), the following acts and omissions are prohibited on the trails and areas as described in this Order, and as depicted on the attached maps hereby incorporated into this Order as Exhibit A and Exhibit B. (the “restricted area”), all within Houston/Rolla Ranger District, Mark Twain National Forest, Texas County, and within the Ava Ranger District, Mark Twain National Forest, Taney County, Missouri: 1. Being on a trail: 36 CFR 261.55(a) 2. Going into or being upon the restricted area: 36 CFR 261.53(e) ALL OF THE PADDY CREEK WILDERNESS ON THE HOUSTON/ROLLA RANGER/CEDAR CREEK RANGER DISTRICT OF THE MARK TWAIN NATIONAL FOREST IS CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC STARTING at 6:00 AM MONDAY, JANUARY 27, 2020, through WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 29, 2020, at 6:00 PM AS DESCRIBED BELOW. All National Forest System lands within the legal description are temporarily closed to the public. 36 CFR 261.53(e): All trails and lands within the congressional boundary of the Paddy Creek Wilderness (Exhibit A). ALL OF THE HERCULES GLADE WILDERNESS ON THE AVA/CASSVILLE/ WILLOW SPRINGS RANGER DISTRICT OF THE MARK TWAIN NATIONAL FOREST, AND THE NATIONAL FOREST SYSTEM LANDS DESCRIBED BELOW, IS CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC STARTING at 6:00 AM THURDAY, JANUARY 30, 2020, through FRIDAY, JANUARY 31, 2020, at 6:00 PM, AS DESCRIBED BELOW. All National Forest System lands within the following legal descriptions are temporarily closed to the public. 36 CFR 261.53(e): All trails and lands within the congressional boundary of the Hercules Glade Wilderness (Exhibit B). Pursuant to 36 CFR 261.50 (e), the following persons are exempt from this Order: 1. Persons with a Forest Service permit specifically authorizing the otherwise prohibited act or omission. 2. Any Federal, State, or local officer, or member of any organized rescue or fire fighting force in the performance of an official duty.

This prohibition is in addition to the general prohibitions in 36 CFR Part 261, Subpart A.

A violation of this prohibition is punishable by a fine of not more than $5,000 for an individual or $10,000 for an organization, or imprisonment for not more than six months, or both (16 U.S.C. 551 and 18 U.S.C. 3559, 3571, and 3581). Executed in Rolla Missouri, this 24th day of January 2020.
