With delayed nearly four months because of the coronavirus pandemic, the Rangers played its first regular season home game in the 40,000-seat ballpark July 24 against the . Gov. The Quiktrip Concert in Your Car Presented by Energy Transfer Concert Series took place June 4-7 and featured the Eli Young Band, Whiskey Myers, Pat Green and the Josh Abbott Band & Kevin Fowler.

Rangers fans and music enthusiasts were able to watch the performances from the safety and comfort of their cars, without interacting with anyone to gain access to the show. The artists performed directly in front of fans on a stage in the parking lot, complete with jumbo screens and concert audio available through a specially designated FM radio channel.
