CAREER OPPORTUNITY Bangladesh Cricket Board Date: January 31, 2021 The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is a national sports organization solely responsible for governing the game of Cricket in Bangladesh. The BCB seeks applications from qualified individuals for the following positions for immediate appointment: Position : Head Coach-Bangladesh National Women Cricket Team The Key Responsibilities: i. Planning, Training & Managing programs for the Bangladesh National Women Cricket Team. ii. Setting goals and deadlines for the players in line with long term objective of the team. iii. Organizing and delivering quality coaching with the aim of improving performance and results of Bangladesh National Women Cricket Team. i v. Motivating the players and assisting them in reaching their optimum performance. v. Any other responsibility as assigned by the board from time to time. Key Skill Requirements: i. Ability to relate to international cricketers. ii. Ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals with diverse background. iii. Strong Communication and interpersonal skills. i v. Excellent presentation and report writing skills. v. Strong analytical ability. vi. Can work independently when necessary. vii. Have computer literacy / IT knowledge with ability to operate cricket coaching software packages. Experience: Must have elite level coaching experience. Preference will be given to candidates having Batting Speciality and experience working with a Women’s Team. Position : Trainer-Women’s Wing i. Responsible for the fitness and conditioning of the players. ii. Development and implementation of the best holistic fitness program for the Women’s Cricket Team. iii. Coordinate with the Coach and other support staff to implement fitness activities. i v. Conduct or assist in physical examinations, fitness testing, or similar in conjunction with the medical and coaching staff. v. Manage the training facilities and equipment to ensure they are maintained in proper working order. vi. Willing to travel with the team extensively for longer period of time outside Dhaka & Abroad. vii.Other duties as may be directed by the authority. Qualification: Bachelor Degree preferable in science / Life Science / Bachelor in Physical Education / Diploma in Sports Science / Equivalent degree. First Aid and CPR certified will get preference. Experience: Minimum 03 (Three) years professional experience in a reputed sports organiza- tion / Elite team.
