Day 1, Saturday, : Welcome to ! Proceed through passport control, retrieve your luggage & continue through customs to the arrivals hall. Day 2, Sunday, Catania – Syracuse – – Ragusa: This morning after breakfast at the hotel, depart for Syracuse to visit the most beautiful Greek colony of Sicily. Lunch in a local restaurant with a special menu chosen to give you the opportunity to taste local specialties. Depart to Agrigento; your visit of this hillside town, famous for its magnificent Valley of the Temples will include a guided tour of the Valley. Dinner and overnight in Agrigento. (B, L, D)

Day 4, Tuesday, Agrigento – – Monreale: Before heading off to Palermo today, enjoy breakfast at your hotel. This special day will be dedicated to discovering the of Sicily, Palermo. But first en- route stop in Monreale and visit Cathedral, one of the most beautiful monuments in Moorish architecture. It houses very fine mosaics representing a complete cycle of the Old and New Testaments. Then a visit of the Benedictine Cloister in Arab-Norman style. Proceed to Palermo to visit the historical center, the Cathedral, the of the and its superb Palatine Chapel. Day 5, Wednesday, Palermo – – – Palermo: After breakfast at the hotel, depart for the medieval village of Erice, located on top of a hill overlooking the city of and the Egadi Islands. Walk through its tiny and characteristic streets, the winding lanes and, inner . Continue to Marsala, a city on the western coast, famous of its production of sweet Sicilian wine. Day 6, Thursday, Palermo – Cefalu – Nebrodi Park – : Once again, this morning have breakfast at your hotel before setting out for Cefalu, a former fishing village and now a charming coastal town. Enjoy a walk to the city center and down Main Street to reach the Arab-Norman Cathedral and the medieval wash-house built in the rock. Drive through the Park of “Nebrodi” and stop at the Miraglia Forest for lunch with a typical menu. Continue to Cesarò, Randazzo, and visit the Etna park from an unusual point of view - the north facing side - surrounded by beautiful landscapes. Dinner and overnight in Taormina. (B, L, D)

Day 7, Friday, Taormina – Mt. Etna (Optional) – Taormina: After breakfast, the m0orning is at your leisure.
