Invitation to SELL Student Games 2016 Tampere, Finland
Dear Sport Association,
In the year 2016, 13th-15th of May, SELL Student Games –event is organized in Tampere, Finland. SELL Student Games is a multisport and multinational event for university students from all over the world. SELL event is organized every year alternately in Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Sports in the SELL Games vary every year; in 2016 there will be 17 different sports to participate. In SELL Games there is no age limits or qualification. Participants of the SELL Games come from all over the world; from Baltic countries, Russia, European countries, and even from China. All the students worldwide are welcome to represent their university and compete in the SELL Games!

Badminton Date: Saturday 14th of May 2016 Place: Tampere, Finland Categories: Women’s singles advanced, Women’s singles hobby, Women’s doubles, Men’s singles advanced, Men’s singles hobby, Men’s doubles. To whom: Students from all over the world. Participants must be university students or graduated from university in 2015 or 2016. Participation fee: €25/day students from SELL countries, €30/day students from other countries *SELL countries are Finland. Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania

Right to participate: SELL Student Games 2016 shall be open for university, college, polytechnic or other higher education institution (later university) students with a valid student ID or other document that can prove his/her student status. Students who graduated from a university in 2015 or 2016 can also participate if the documents of graduation are shown. All participants shall represent their own university. There is no age limit for the participants. In case of team sports, the players of the team must be from the same university.
Entry fees Registration latest by 15.04.2016 o SELL Countries* 25 €/ person/day o non SELL Countries 30 €/ person/day
Registration after 15.04.2016: o SELL countries* 40 €/ person/day o non SELL countries 45 €/ person/day
The entry fee includes: o participation in competition o catering three times a day (breakfast, lunch, dinner) o entrance to all competitions, cultural activities and ceremonies o The entry fee does not include accommodation, travel expenses or insurance
*SELL-countries are Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
Duration of the specific sport competition in SELL Games varies depending of the sport. Teams can join the Games for extra days to stay after own competition if wanted.
