We would like to take this opportunity to reassure Ms. Elizabeth Alton of the Stockton Board of Trustees that, at least to our knowledge, there is no armed takeover of hte school planned for the present time. What is planned, however, is that students will no longer tolerate being treated as simply the end-product of an assembly line, with no say in the workings of the 'factory' that surrounds them. No, Ms. Alton, there will be no armed confrontation, whatever your informants may try to tell you. Perhaps your real fear lies in what you and the Board of Trustees have to hide from the eyes of those uppity, prying students... ******* The recent drug busts made on campus once again drive home the harsh reality that we are not living in our own isolated little world at Stockton, but are subject to the jurisdiction of outside law enforcement agencies, as well as our own. Although the Campus Police have denied any allegations that they are actively pursuing an undercover narcotics operation, they have acknowledged that outside "narcs" are operating on campus. For this reason, we strongly suggest that the use of marijuana (the "heathen devil weed'") on campus be with the realization that with just a few weeks until summer, there will very likely be more busts as Galloway, State, and County agents get in their "last licks." Be paranoid! We don't need this is supposed to be a drug bust...there ain't no drug problem here!" any more people jailed for the ignorance and predjudices of our law makers and enforcers. Blue Ribbon quality means the best tasting beer you can get. A quality achieved only by using the finest ingredients and by adhering to the most rigid of brewing standards.

In Milwaukee, the beer capital of the world, Pabst Blue Ribbon continues to be the overwhelming best seller year after year. Blue Ribbon outsells its nearest competitor nearly five to one. That's why we feel we've earned the right to challenge any beer.

So here's the Pabst challenge: Taste and compare the flavor of Blue Ribbon with the beer you're drinking and learn what Pabst quality in beer is all about. But don't take our word for it. Taste our word for it.

Pabst. Since 1844. The quality has always come through.
