CONSERVATION AREA ADVISORY COMMITTEES The Rushcliffe Conservation Area Advisory Committee continues to meet at regular intervals and the Trust's representative on this committee is Dr. N. Summers, with Mr. G. Boylin as his deputy. City of Nottingham Below: Manor The Farm, Cotham have invited the Trust to nominate a representative to serve upon the Advisory Committee for the City and the Trust understands that the Newark District Council have decided not to proceed with the establishment of a committee to serve the Newark district. .-, COMMUNITY COUNCIL FOR NOTTINGHAMSIllRE The Council of Management has noted that the Community Council has moved to its new accommodation at 110 Mansfield Road, Nottingham, and the Trust wiIl, therefore, now be operating from this address. ~ During the year the Community Council received with regret the ./ resignation of Mr. John Hammond, who served as Secretary to the Trust also, and we extend our sincere good wishes to Mr. Hammond in his new appointment. At the same time we look forward to welcoming his successor, Dr. R. Middleton, M.A., who will take office on 27th June, 1977.

The Trust exists to help save local buildings of histone or architectural Interest from demolition or decay. It works by way of grants to encourage owners to keep buildings in good repair and, if necessary, will purchase buildings and restore them to a useful life.

The Trust invites subscriptions from those who WiSh to associate themselves with this work and to attend meetings and receive reports on the activities.

The Trust is a registered Charity and can benefit from Deeds of Covenant made in its favour.
