    Boletín Científico Sapiens Research Vol. 3(2)-2013 / pp: 52-59 / ISSN-e: 2215-9312 Sapiens Research Group Ranking Col-Sapiens 2011-2012 Clasificación de colegios colombianos según puntaje, calidad y acreditación Por Sapiens Research Group RESUMEN Objetivos: (1) explicar muy bien la metodología que sustenta esta clasificación; (2) publicar la primera versión (o reporte) de los mejores colegios colombianos según puntaje, calidad y acreditación; y (3) dar a conocer la presentación web del Ranking Col-Sapiens por colegio clasificado. Alcance en tiempo, actores y variables: se analizaron todos los colegios privados (no oficiales) y públicos (oficiales) y se seleccionaron los que cumplieran con tener categoría “Muy superior” ante el ICFES de manera consecutiva (para 2011-2012); se clasificaron por deciles (D1 a D10) al partir de los puntajes promedio y otra serie de cálculos; y se calificaron según calidad (ISO-9001), modelo de reconocimiento de gestión de calidad, y acreditación internacional. La metodología aplicada implica puntajes y puntos según las características de cada variable, razón por la que parte de un análisis matemático que se puede leer cualitativa y cuantitativamente. Los resultados-conclusiones más importantes son: (1) de los 814 (2011) y 789 (2012) colegios en categoría Muy superior, solo 622 alcanzaron dicho resultado de manera consecutiva (2011-2012); (2) de estos 622 colegios (que representan cerca del 12% de todos los categorizados en 2012), solo aproximadamente el 30% incorporan la calidad o la acreditación (externa) a su dinámica académica-administrativa; y (3) cerca de un 80% de los colegios que deciden certificarse en calidad a través de algunos modelos reconocidos por el Ministerio de Educación Nacional o acreditarse a través de algunos organismos extranjeros alcanzan la categoría de Muy superior.
