2015-16 Annual Report Thank you from a refuge resident age 29, with two children age 6yrs and 4yrs: ‘I’d like to thank each and every one of you for this contribution you have made to our lives. We arrived in turmoil and at every twist and turn you have been there for us. We are leaving today all changed for the better and you have all played parts in getting us here. I wish I could find the words to explain the impact our stay at SafeNet has had upon me. It’s reawakened the strong, independent, loving side of me that was suppressed for too long. My children have flourished here too and are overjoyed at being able to be children again, unburned of the weight of our old lives. I’ve seen a small glimpse of the effort and care that you ladies put into all that you do and it’s been inspirational to me. I sincerely hope to give something back to this organisation or a similar one so that, hopefully in the future, I can make a positive impact on women’s lives in the way you have on ours. I am eternally grateful’. Contents Page
