Granddaughter to professional concert pianist, Katelyn Benton was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and took to the piano immediately. Sparked by her Grandmother’s influence, but fueled by her own love of music, Benton began lessons after tirelessly pleading to her mother. Benton continued to study classical piano throughout elementary, middle and high school, picking up an interest in performing and writing contemporary music along the way. Benton continues to work as a studio and live musician and as a professional composer and songwriter in Los Angeles.

Nigel and Raquel are currently in the studio working on a new record together, produced by Nigel Hall and Sam Brawner, out October 2016. The LA soulstress has also received airplay and support from music and culture tastemaker Garth Trinidad, DJ at top ranking NPR station KCRW and music editor for LA Canvas, as well as LA’s very own, Anderson .Paak.

Los Angeles Native TJ Wilkins was a force to be reckoned with On Ushers Team during Season 6 of NBC’s The Voice. TJ grew up in South Central LA, and his mom encouraged him to get into music to avoid gang violence. Her encouragement helped him win a singing competition, where he had the opportunity to play with his biggest idol, Stevie Wonder.
