The Richmond County Chamber of Commerce honored Dr. Alonzo Hook Covington as the 2011 Citizen of the Year at the 29th Annual Meeting and Recognition Night on Thursday. Covington and his wife Pat have three daughters, Jennifer, Jessie and Christie, and five grandchildren who all live in Richmond County.
