N 0 0 .i:a, A NEWSLETTER FOR THE GRAND VALLEY STATE UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY ••• Partnership with CMU aids health professions students Health professions students from Central Michigan University will be able to make an easy transition to graduate studies at Grand Valley. Under a new agreement signed February 11 , up to three CMU students will be automatically accepted into Grand Valley's master's of science in occupational therapy program after fulfilling pre-admission requirements. "Grand Valley is developing a strong relationship with CMU students," said Christopher Lewis, outreach coordinator for the School of Health Professions. "Students can apply in their junior year at CMU and then, binding an academic review of their senior year, can be accepted into our program before they graduate." Jane Toot, director of the School of Health Professions, said, "All of the health programs are very expensive to implement," she said.
