RUCCIS circus experiences blend fun physical exercise with the drama and excitement of circus arts. Workshops are independently supervised and facilitated by experienced circus coaches.

Why Circus?

RUCCIS circus workshops are great for: physical fitness, fine and gross motor skills, co-ordination, strength, flexibility and cardio vascular fitness. Our teaching methods also support our students to develop: teamwork and problem solving skills, the ability to set and work towards personal goals and self confidence through experiences of success and performance. RUCCIS circus experiences take place in a non-competitive, exploration-based environment that is great fun to be a part of! Fee Schedule Program 1 Hoop, Diablo, Devil Sticks, Our fees include manipulation equipment, coaching, , Staff and insurance and administration. Fees do not include , and G.S.T.

Up to 15 students- $60 per hour for the first 3 hours Available at your venue or then $50 per hour thereafter. 1 coach provided one of ours. for a minimum of 2 hours.

15- 30 Students- $120 per hour for the first 3 hours Program 2 Program 1 PLUS then $100 per hour thereafter. 2 coaches provided for a minimum of 2 hours. (We Tumbling and . recommended a minimum of 2 coaches for festivals.) Roving Performers

Our RUCCIS students love the opportunity to bring their roving performances

to festivals and events, adding a fun and colorful atmosphere.

Roving Fees A fee of $100 per hour with a minimum of 2 hours, covers administration, equipment, insurance and chaperoning costs. Fees do not include G.S.T.

Who are we?

Geoff Dunstan is a seasoned circus performer and coach, having worked with many nationally known performance art groups, including Circus Oz (as a performer, head kid’s coach, act director and aerial coach), The National Institute of Circus Arts, Snuff Puppets, and The Rock’n’Roll Circus. He is co-founder of Dislocate Acrobatic Theatre, which has performed across Australia and internationally. Geoff specialises in , tumbling and acrobalance.

Anna Brooks has been a primary school teacher in the Dandenong Ranges for the last 6 years. Her background was in coaching rhythmic gymnastics and sports , before discovering the circus arts as an adult 5 years ago. Since then Anna has been passionate about providing circus experiences to the Knox and Yarra Ranges communities through local festivals and school programs. In 2004-2005 she was co-founder, manager and lead coach of Coonara Community Circus, and in 2006 was commissioned to write a circus arts program for Western Australian Schools. Anna specialises in hoop manipulation, stilts and acrobalance.

Marnie Statkus has been performing for as long as she can remember! She has taught students in the northern and outer eastern suburbs for the last 6 years in local schools and within a number of after school clubs. During 2004-2005 Marnie co-managed and coached Coonara Community Circus with Anna. In her spare time over the years she has also trained in acting, stunt work, springboard diving and Capoeira. Marnie specialises in Staff and Poi twirling, Devil Sticks, and the other manipulation arts.
