Picasa Getting Started Guide
Picasa Getting Started Guide Picasa is free photo management software from Google that helps you find, edit and share your photos in seconds. We recommend that you print out this brief overview of Picasa's main features and consult it as you use the program for the first time to learn about new features quickly. Organize Once you start Picasa, it scans your hard drive to find and automatically organize all your photos. Picasa finds the following photo and movie file types: • Photo file types: JPG, GIF, TIF, PSD, PNG, BMP, RAW (including NEF and CRW). GIF and PNG files are not scanned by default, but you can enable them in the Tools > Options dialog. • Movie file types: MPG, AVI, ASF, WMV, MOV. If you are upgrading from an older version of Picasa, you will likely want to keep your existing database, which contains any organization and photo edits you have made. To transfer all this information, simply install Picasa without uninstalling Picasa already on your computer. On your first launch of Picasa you will be prompted to transfer your existing database. After this process is complete, you can uninstall Picasa. Library view Picasa automatically organizes all your photo and movie files into collections of folders inside its main Library view. Layout of main Library screen: Picasa Getting Started Guide Page 1 of 9 Folder list The left-hand list in Picasa's Library view shows all the folders containing photos on your computer and all the albums you've created in Picasa. These folders and albums are grouped into collections that are described in the next section. -

Benefits of house calls • Offers insights not available during an office visit • Provides accessible healthcare for the patient • Helps to save money by helping to keep those who are having a minor ailment from turning into a major operation. The decline of the house call • Lack of efficiency • Time required • Fewer family physicians • Poor reimbursement • Biomedical knowledge and technology • Growth of 3rd party payers • Heightened liability concerns Why are house calls coming back? • Projected increase in the number of elderly • Consumer demand • Hospital readmission reduction • The concept also has had "absolute rock-solid bipartisan support" among federal lawmakers. -
Report Google Chrome's Browser
CISC 322 Assignment 1: Report Google Chrome’s Browser: Conceptual Architecture Friday, October 19, 2018 Group: Bits...Please! Emma Ritcey [email protected] Kate MacDonald [email protected] Brent Lommen [email protected] Bronwyn Gemmill [email protected] Chantal Montgomery [email protected] Samantha Katz [email protected] Bits...Please! Abstract The Google Chrome browser was investigated to determine its conceptual architecture. After reading documentation online and analyzing reference web browser architectures, the high level conceptual architecture of Chrome was determined to be a layered style. Individual research was done before collaborating as a group to finalize our proposed architecture. The conceptual architecture was proposed to coincide with Chrome’s four core principles (4 S’s): simplicity, speed, security, and stability. In depth research was completed in the render and browser engine subsystems which had the architectures styles object oriented and layered, respectively. Using the proposed architecture, the process of a user logging in and Chrome saving the password, as well as Chrome rendering a web page using JavaScript were explored in more detail. To fully understand the Chrome browser, Chrome’s concurrency model was investigated and determined to be a multi-process architecture that supports multi-threading. As well, team issues within Chrome and our own team were reported to support our derivation process and proposed architecture. 1 Bits...Please! Table of Contents Abstract 1 Table of Contents 2 -
